Ch. 341God-Forged Legion

The God-Forged Skeleton Legion invaded the Gnoll Kingdom, crushing its armies and killing the Gnoll King after the Argali, Kobolds, and Harpies refused to help. The kingdom fell, and two months later the God-Forged Skeleton Legion and the Blue Bay City Skeleton Legion met and peacefully divided the territory, leaving the Kobolds wary of the Dwarves they believed had invaded.

  • The Gnoll King asked the Argali, Kobolds, and Harpies for help, but the Argali invaded Gnoll lands, the Kobolds declined to intervene, and the Harpies attacked the Porcupine Kingdom.
  • The Gnoll King encountered the God-Forged Skeleton Legion advancing through the border towns and led his forces into battle against its mechs and artillery.
  • Medivh fought and killed the Gnoll King with a Bone Golem, then joined Oriana, Nomxi, and other allies in breaking the Gnoll Kingdom's resistance.
  • The God-Forged Skeleton Legion defeated the Gnoll army and took the kingdom, while the Argali stayed away, mistaking the skeletons for Dwarves.
  • Two months later, the God-Forged Skeleton Legion and the Blue Bay City Skeleton Legion met in the Gnoll Kingdom, greeted each other, and settled as neighbors.
  • The Kobolds grew concerned that the Dwarves might seize their mines, but the God-Forged Skeleton Legion did not advance toward them.

Ch. 342The Kingdom Falls, the Duchy Rises

After the Gnoll Kingdom fell, Medivh divided its territory into the Spirit Cat Duchy and Spirit Fox Duchy, settling Cat-people and Fox-people there while keeping their connection to the Wrynn Family secret. He left the neighboring kingdoms in peace for now, planning to seek their submission through negotiation before resorting to war.

  • Medivh established the Spirit Cat Duchy under Ansaniya and Suixiang, and the Spirit Fox Duchy under Satena and Arina, while the Council of Ladies managed the Crimson Kingdom’s districts.
  • A million Cat-people and a million Fox-people settled in the duchies, whose construction and peaceful growth reassured neighboring Argali-men and Kobolds.
  • Suixiang praised Medivh for saving and uplifting the Spirit Cat Tribe, whose members remained devoted to him and the Wrynn Family.
  • The Cat-people and Fox-people traded gifts and built friendly ties, while the Argali-men sent congratulations and the Kobolds and Harpies kept their distance.
  • Medivh chose not to conquer the remaining Indigenous Kingdoms yet, intending to offer peaceful submission before fighting any who refused.

Ch. 343Ancestral Spirit Project

Medivh’s Ancestral Spirit Project and the High Tower Maids strengthened the Wrynn Family’s growing power, while he continued his cultivation in Kurd City. Lux’s visit to Freya’s home brought her closer to Medivh, and she woke the next morning having missed her first morning prayer.

  • The Cat-men welcomed Bone Spirits resurrected from their ancestors, as Medivh’s Ancestral Spirit Project gained momentum through the Bone Knight Cultivation Method.
  • The Wrynn Family embraced the project, while Audrey trained gifted High Tower Maids as a secret force for the family.
  • Medivh left the Crimson Kingdom and the Spirit Cat and Spirit Fox Duchies under the Council of Ladies, then returned to Kurd City to cultivate.
  • Lux visited Freya, and Medivh flirted with her while Freya secretly recorded their encounter for another forbidden book.
  • Moana the Sage approved of Lux pursuing Medivh, and Lux overslept before morning prayer for the first time.
  • Freya met Lux outside and invited her to ride with her to morning prayer.

Ch. 344A Dragon Has Nine Sons

Medivh visited Flame Dragon City as five of Shyvana’s Dragon hatchlings emerged, then watched several Dragons lay eggs that expanded the Wrynn Family’s mixed-blood lineages. With the family now organized into four Dragon Clans and twelve new offspring to raise, Medivh planned to build more cities and secure more resources.

  • A Bone Spirit driver took Freya and Lux to the Grand Cathedral of Light in a Lynx Off-road Vehicle, while Lux marveled at its speed.
  • Medivh traveled to Flame Dragon City, where three Red Dragon and two Lava Dragon hatchlings emerged from Shyvana’s eggs and were named Noct, Zact, Rox, Drix, and Kull.
  • Oriana, Veledra, Vellona, and Zyra laid twelve eggs, including pureblood and mixed-blood Dragon varieties.
  • Medivh sorted the new Dragon eggs among the Flame Dragon, Rock Dragon, and Dragon Palace Clans, bringing the Wrynn Family to four Dragon Clans with the Fairy Dragon Clan.
  • Medivh resolved to build more cities, open Elemental Rifts, and create Elemental Wells and Elemental Lands to feed the growing Dragon family.

Ch. 345Shoulder the Heavy Responsibility

Medivh led the Wrynn Family's largest expeditionary force yet into Lothar City-State's war on an Eighth Rank plane, where they were tasked with holding a candidate site for a Plane Portal. After two months of defense, the portal opened and the war entered a new phase.

  • Marquis Cassio informed Medivh that Lothar City-State was launching a plane war and asked the Wrynn Family to secure a candidate landing site.
  • Medivh prepared the Wrynn Family and sent 6.02 million troops to the War Demi-plane, with a Red Bone Bone Spirit Substitute commanding in his place.
  • The Skeleton Legion swept the area, built defenses, and held its landing site while mages laid the foundations for a decoy Plane Portal.
  • Medivh assigned Black Bone Rock Bone Dragons and Sixth Rank Bone Spirits to the Summit War, where the Bone Spirits killed several enemy Transcendents and forced stronger opponents to engage them.
  • Two months later, the Red Bone Bone Spirit Substitute sensed the Plane Portal opening and prepared for the war's next phase.

Ch. 346How Are We Supposed to Fight This?

Lothar City-State’s Plane Portal opened successfully, and its expeditionary forces began their invasion while the Skeleton Legion used its landing site to establish a fortified Block City. Medivh learned that the Legion of Light had withdrawn from Fel Space to fight similar outbreaks across other planes.

  • The Indigenous Allied Forces failed to destroy the Plane Portal, allowing Lothar City-State’s reinforcements to arrive and the invasion to begin.
  • The Skeleton Legion counterattacked from its landing site, using the Steel Torrent to drive Indigenous forces back and seize territory.
  • The Skeleton Engineering Team built layered defenses while the Wrynn Dark Towers recharged the Alchemical War Chariots, frustrating repeated Indigenous attacks.
  • The Indigenous Allied Forces abandoned efforts to dislodge the Skeleton Legion and sent most of their troops to fight invaders elsewhere.
  • Medivh asked Sage Moana why units of the Legion of Light had withdrawn from Fel Space, and she explained that Fel outbreaks were appearing beneath other planes.

Ch. 347The Inrushing Sea

Medivh prepared for a growing war between the East Sea Sea Clan and the Gewalt Federation while his family welcomed Blue Dragon Reinhardt. As floods and Murloc attacks spread into the Odyssey City-State, Wrynn Territory braced for the invasion.

  • Medivh offered the Church of Light help against Fel Spaces, but Sage Moana told him to focus on developing Holy Remains City and City of Evil-Purging.
  • Veledra confronted Sindasa over his old habit of taking her food, and Reinhardt arrived, beat Sindasa, and exchanged gifts with Medivh.
  • Reinhardt enjoyed a family dinner with his children and grandchildren, then left North Kurd City to visit Azure Wave Dragon Elder Sophia and his other children.
  • Veledra warned Medivh that the East Sea Sea Clan had declared war on the Gewalt Federation, so he prepared Wrynn Territory's defenses.
  • The Sea Clan attacked Gewalt's coastal city-states, then floods and Murloc forces spread through the Odyssey Region's rivers as the invasion reached the Odyssey City-State.
  • Murlocs passed through Wrynn Territory along the riverbeds, avoiding the Skeleton Guards and their weapons.

Ch. 348Want to Get Rich? Build Roads First

The East Sea Sea Clan passed through Wrynn Territory and fought the Gewalt Federation, while Medivh kept his forces out of the conflict and sold Deep Water Bombs to the Odyssey City-State. The war ended in a compromise, and the Wrynn Family profited by using its railway to supply the Black Mountain City-State.

  • A Purple Scale-man general asked whether the Sea Clan should attack Wrynn Territory, but the Gold Scale-man commander rejected the idea and led the army toward Odyssey City-State.
  • Medivh ordered increased patrols and vigilance as the Sea Clan passed through his territory without attacking.
  • The Wrynn Family stayed out of the fighting and sold Deep Water Bombs to the nobles of the Odyssey City-State.
  • After months of conflict and flooding, the Gewalt Federation abandoned its far-sea islands while the East Sea Sea Clan allowed its ships to operate in coastal waters.
  • The Fishmen returned to the East Sea with a surge of young, prompting Medivh to watch over the Wrynn Family's sea routes.
  • The Wrynn Family used the railway through South Kurd City to supply the Black Mountain City-State and earn a fortune during the sea blockade.

Ch. 349The Hungry Dragon's Feeding Frenzy

Medivh gathered Sea Clan corpses after the floods and strengthened ties with the Azure Wave Dragon Clan as he prepared to expand the Dragon Palace Clan into Southwest Cape. Thetis joined the clan, while Medivh decided to wait until the Wrynn Family was strong enough to challenge the Murloc tribes.

  • Medivh sent the Skeleton Engineering Team to help rebuild flood-damaged towns in exchange for Murloc and Sea Clan corpses, which he planned to revive as Sea Skeletons.
  • Sophia visited Veledra, praised her for laying another clutch of eggs, and discussed the Azure Wave Merchant Group and the Dragon Palace Clan with Medivh.
  • After hearing that Veledra planned to establish the Dragon Palace Clan in Southwest Cape, Sophia promised to seek the Azure Wave Dragon Queen's support and contact the Scale-men.
  • The Azure Wave Dragon Queen sent her daughter Thetis to join the Dragon Palace Clan as a shareholder, and Medivh welcomed her with a store of treasures and a lavish Dragon Nest.
  • Veledra saw Thetis with Medivh and Vellona, while Medivh chose to delay any attack on the Murloc tribes until the Wrynn Family grew stronger.

Ch. 350Regaining Freedom

Medivh’s forces blockaded the White Shell Ocean after the Indigenous Kingdoms attacked, but the kingdoms quickly withdrew rather than fight the Dragon Palace Clan. After Rhine regained his freedom from the Dragon Source Contract, he reunited with Medivh and decided to return to the Hobarton Family.

  • Medivh ordered the Dragon Palace Clan and Skeleton Army to blockade the White Shell Ocean after the Indigenous Kingdoms attacked the islands.
  • The Four Seas Dragon Queens defeated the Indigenous navy, and the Indigenous Kingdoms abandoned their claim to the sea and retreated inland.
  • The Wrynn Family built an underwater defense line, while the Loran City-State’s nobles lamented losing the chance to seize Indigenous territory.
  • In mid-December, Shyvana asked Alexstrasza to release Rhine from his Dragon Source Contract after reaching adulthood and Seventh Rank.
  • Medivh welcomed Rhine home, and after reuniting with his family, Rhine decided to return to the Hobarton Family and lead it to glory.

Ch. 351The Dragon-Rearing Business

Rhine returned to the Hobarton Family as its Earl, while Medivh arranged to hatch fourteen Frost Dragon eggs for Sapphiron’s family. Medivh planned to move his growing Frost Dragon Clan to the West Winter Mountains, leaving the Hengduan Mountains to the Dragon Palace Clan.

  • Medivh supported Rhine’s return to the Hobarton Family, where Rhine became Earl and united the family behind a plan to challenge the Gevot Marquis Family.
  • Sapphiron visited North Kurd City with his family and urged his daughters to be more proactive with Medivh.
  • Medivh agreed to hatch fourteen Frost Dragon eggs, with the males to be collected after five years and the females to remain in his territory.
  • The Ice-Snow Elves discovered that six Frost Dragons had settled in the Hengduan Mountains and kept watch on them and their eggs.
  • Medivh identified the West Winter Mountains as a future home for his Frost Dragon Clan and planned to leave the Hengduan Mountains to the Dragon Palace Clan.

Ch. 352A Winner in Life

Medivh advanced to Seventh-Rank Dragon and reviewed the Wrynn Family’s extraordinary growth in power, population, and territory over the past nine years. With a vastly expanded skeleton-production network and Block City projects spreading across many planes, the family continued strengthening its holdings against the threat of widespread Fel disasters.

  • Medivh reached Seventh-Rank Dragon, while his Dragonblood Knight and Dragonblood Sorcerer paths advanced to Seventh-Rank Mid-Grade.
  • Medivh reviewed the Wrynn Family’s wars and rise from an Earldom to a Marquisate over nine years, including his conquests with the Spore Queen and the creation of the Dragon Palace Clan.
  • Medivh learned that the family had raised its skeleton numbers by more than 54 million and grown its human population beyond twenty-five million.
  • Medivh reviewed the family’s expanding territories and Block City construction across its home plane and numerous Seventh- through Tenth-Rank planes.
  • The Spore Queen sent Sunshine Mushroom mycelium underground beneath the Spore Plane to prevent Fel Space from forming.

Ch. 353From a Family Gathering to an Imperial Gathering

Medivh reviewed the growth of his territories and industries, then supported a proposal to make the Alchemical Expo a Gewalt Federation event. In September, Blue Dragon Azalia opened the Blue Dragon Tomb, where Medivh secured the ancestors’ agreement and began resurrecting willing Blue Dragon spirits.

  • Holy Remains City expanded its districts for containing deathly energy, while the Sage of Light Association considered applying its governance approach elsewhere.
  • The Alchemical Academy of Sciences developed the Second-Generation God-Forged Mecha and designed the more powerful Third-Generation model.
  • Medivh held the second Alchemical Expo in South Kurd City, where the Wrynn Family won many orders and the Gewalt Noble Council proposed a federation-wide expo every ten years.
  • Lissandra and Vivian reported that Azalia had purified her bloodline and evolved into a Blue Dragon.
  • Azalia entered the Blue Dragon Tomb and inherited the Blue Dragon Clan’s authority as Medivh waited outside with Lissandra, Vivian, and Sage Moana.
  • The Blue Dragon Ancestors agreed to work with Medivh, who contracted with their Dragon Spirit Guardians and quietly resurrected the willing spirits as Blue Bone Dragons.

Ch. 354Thunder Dragon City

Medivh revived the Blue Dragon remnants as Thunder Bone Dragons and began building Thunder Dragon City to establish a Blue Dragon-led lineage. When his scouts found an unrecorded Seventh-Rank plane, he decided to invite the Spore Queen before considering an invasion.

  • Medivh emerged from the Blue Dragon Tomb with Azalia and one hundred eight revived Thunder Bone Dragons, which agreed to help rebuild the Blue Dragon Clan.
  • Medivh sent the Thunder Bone Dragons to Flame Dragon City and began constructing Thunder Dragon City underground beneath the forest south of Rock Dragon Swamp.
  • Azalia, Lissandra, and Vivian led the Blue Dragon Clan as its members helped purify Blue Dragon Kin bloodlines and Thunder Bone Dragons secretly subdued weaker clans.
  • Medivh planned for Thunder Dragon City to lead a Blue Dragon-based lineage, with hybrid offspring joining the clan that matched their dominant elemental bloodline.
  • Skeleton Mages discovered an unrecorded Seventh-Rank plane, and Medivh decided to invite the Spore Queen before starting a plane war.

Ch. 355A Fright or a Thrill

Medivh arranged for the Spore Queen to send Spore Shuttles toward a target plane while he studied their technology and continued developing the Wrynn Family’s ability to wage plane wars. After a secret, thrilling encounter with Mengli ended when she became pregnant, Medivh returned to North Kurd City to advance his research and heard that Andrew and Adeline had welcomed a child.

  • Medivh decided the Wrynn Family could not wage a plane war alone and sought the Spore Queen’s help, prompting her to send Spore Shuttles toward the target plane with Goblin Spores aboard.
  • Medivh studied the Spore Queen’s shuttle technology on the Sam Plane while Mengli disguised herself as Luna during a private encounter and startled him.
  • Mengli later teased Medivh in front of the Spore Queen, then settled down after becoming pregnant, and the Spore Queen sent Medivh away.
  • Back in North Kurd City, Medivh gathered his Skeleton Mage scholars to expand their research and pushed for progress on War Goblins and Star Sea travel.
  • Sindasa visited Medivh in mid-August and reported that Andrew and Adeline had had a child.

Ch. 356Equal Cooperation

The Spore Queen’s Goblin Spores weakened the Theron Plane before Medivh and the Myconids invaded and defeated its native kingdoms. Medivh accepted the surrender of several peoples and began establishing Wrynn Family rule, while the Forest Elves realized they had mistaken his family for the Myconids.

  • The Spore Queen spread Goblin Spores across the Theron Plane, and disciplined Spore Goblins devastated towns and overwhelmed the Indigenous Kingdom.
  • After the Spore Queen summoned him, Medivh led the Skeleton Legion and Sixth- and Seventh-Rank Myconids to attack the native kingdoms’ armies, killing their Transcendents.
  • The Myconid Commander told Medivh that the Spore Queen had left some regions for him to conquer, and Medivh persuaded some native peoples to submit while defeating others.
  • A Forest Elf tribe and a Flower Fairy tribe surrendered after mistaking the Wrynn Family for the Spore Jungle, and Medivh accepted them without correcting their misunderstanding.
  • The Spore Goblins returned to the Spore Jungle, while the Skeleton Legion claimed land and built cities on the Theron Plane.
  • The Forest Elves realized they had surrendered to the Wrynn Family rather than the Myconids, and Medivh gave his new subjects time to settle in.

Ch. 357Assimilation

Medivh oversaw the assimilation of the native tribes into the Wrynn Family, with Beatrice and then Melantha bringing the last holdouts into the fold. The tribes received lands to govern, and the story left off with Beatrice telling Medivh she was pregnant, binding the Green Wild Forest Elves to his family by blood.

  • Medivh encouraged the native tribes to join the Bone Spirit System, form legions, and send young women to serve as High Tower Maids.
  • Beatrice worried the Green Wild Forest Tribe would be isolated for not showing gratitude, so she went to meet Medivh and later helped Elf guards become High Tower Maids.
  • Melantha accepted her baptism, bringing the Flower Fairy Tribe into the Wrynn Family and making Medivh the supreme ruler of the Theron Plane.
  • Medivh divided the plane into duchies and appointed High Tower Maids to rule the tribes on his behalf.
  • Beatrice told Medivh she was pregnant, and he celebrated the news.

Ch. 358The Hundred-Cycle Honeybee Dance

After establishing a network of Block Cities and principalities across the Theron Plane, Medivh returned to the Valoran Plane and advanced to mid-level Sixth-Rank Necromancer. His new ability to raise stronger Bone Spirits promised to further bolster the Wrynn Family’s growing power.

  • Medivh organized the Theron Plane into fifteen principalities, each centered on an eighty-ring Block City, with 256 smaller cities and surrounding farms supporting the territory.
  • Melantha invited Medivh to a farewell ball in Flower Immortal City, where she and ninety-nine Flower Fairies performed the Hundred-Cycle Honeybee Dance.
  • Medivh returned to Theron City with High Tower Maids from several races, who would serve at No. 1 High Tower Castle and help manage their peoples.
  • In mid-November of Wrynn Year 39, Medivh advanced to mid-level Sixth-Rank Necromancer after seven and a half years at the Sixth Rank.
  • Medivh gained the ability to resurrect ordinary skeletons and Transcendent Skeletons as Sixth-Rank Bone Spirits, strengthening the Wrynn Family’s ability to produce powerful Transcendents.

Ch. 359A Diversified Proposal

Medivh’s dragon offspring hatched and settled into their respective clans, while six Frost Dragon sisters became more proactive in seeking his company. The following March, he inspected the Third-Generation God-Forged Mecha and proposed more versatile and much larger designs for future generations.

  • Oriana’s, Veledra’s, Vellona’s, and Zyra’s eggs hatched, and the dragon hatchlings joined the Rock Dragon Clan, Dragon Palace Clan, or Flame Dragon Clan according to their affinities.
  • Medivh assigned the young dragons places to live, and the hatchlings established their own Dragon Nests in Flame Dragon City, Mud Swamp City, and the White Shell Ocean.
  • Lilia and her five Frost Dragon sisters took human form and stayed close to Medivh, while Audrey and the others watched him cultivate and relax at the same time.
  • The Alchemical Academy of Sciences presented Medivh with a fifty-meter Third-Generation God-Forged Mecha equipped with multiple weapons and an Elemental Energy Pool.
  • Medivh praised the prototype and suggested transforming mechas that could serve as ground, sea, and air vehicles, as well as a Block City-sized mecha capable of traveling through the Star Sea.

Ch. 360Public Outrage

The Wrynn Family’s Skeleton Legion used Ironclad City’s portal to crush the Indigenous Allied Forces and seize vast territory, prompting other Lothar nobles to intensify their campaigns. After the fighting stalled and the Indigenous Kingdoms regrouped, displaced commoners turned their anger on the Church of Light for allowing the skeletons to operate openly.

  • The Wrynn Family sent its Skeleton Legion out from Ironclad City as the city activated its Chaotic Elemental Storm and opened a Plane Portal.
  • The Indigenous defenders mistook the storm for the destruction of the skeletons’ base and stayed to attack, but reinforcements poured through the portal as the Wrynn Family fielded twenty million skeletons and defeated them.
  • The Skeleton Legion advanced into the Indigenous Kingdoms’ territory, occupying more than six million square kilometers before both sides fortified their holdings and turned to development and raids.
  • The Indigenous Kingdoms’ suicide squads harassed enemy territory but abandoned Ironclad Territory after its skeleton farmers killed attackers and its border walls expanded.
  • Displaced Indigenous commoners condemned the Church of Light for failing to stop the Skeleton Legion, and some demanded that its priests leave their kingdoms.
