The River Crossing Campaign would not be easy to fight. The Orc Army needed to build war camps and make equipment for crossing the river, and all of that would take time. They wouldn't launch an attack anytime soon.
Half a month later, the Rapid Supply Line that Medivh had overseen the construction of connected to the Tu River South Bank Wall defense line. The Skeleton Engineering Team hauled rails and sleepers, laying the final stretch of track.
"Medivh, you've brought the rail mine carts used to transport ore out of mines up to the surface!"
The Rapid Supply Line was of great importance, so the Federation Envoys and a group of Pioneers came to see it for themselves.
They had assumed the rapid route Medivh was building would be ten meters wide at most. Instead, it was a hundred-meter-wide road, which left them astonished.
Even more astonishing was the pair of tracks running down the middle of the hundred-meter-wide road. They had only ever seen those in mines; this was the first time they'd seen anyone lay mine-cart tracks across a plain.
The track was no short stretch, either. From Dragon Gate Ferry on the north bank of the Wan River to the Tu River South Bank Defense Line, it ran for more than fifteen hundred kilometers.
Only someone like Medivh, a madman for infrastructure, would be willing to build such an absurdly ambitious railway!
"Exactly!"
The skeleton Medivh controlled nodded.
Could transporting supplies by horse-drawn cart really be called rapid supply? How many days would it take to move a load of supplies from the Wan River to the Tu River?
Medivh wanted supplies to leave in the morning and arrive by evening, with a train making a round trip between the north bank of the Wan River
