In late June, Storm City on the North Bank of Tu River received some exciting news.
After screening a large number of plants for elemental radiation, the skeleton breeding experts had cultivated a magical plant that could reliably pass on its traits.
"Excellent. Keep up the good work!"
Medivh praised the skeleton breeding experts for their craftsmanship and urged them to continue, using the Elemental Contamination Zone to cultivate more magical plants.
The magical plant was a mutated strain of wheat. It had been exposed to Fire Element radiation, and Medivh had named it Fire Spirit Wheat.
The entire Fire Spirit Wheat plant was a magical material that could be used to make magical potions, Magic Scrolls, and other items.
Its grains were high-energy food, equivalent to plant-type magical beast meat. They could be used to train fire-element knights, raise fire-element magical beasts, and help fire-element mages recover their mana.
"Medivh, would you like some honey bread?"
Looking at the Fire Spirit Wheat grains on the plate, Audrey was itching to show off her cooking skills again. Fire Spirit Wheat honey bread would surely taste delicious.
"You little glutton, you can't eat these!"
Medivh chuckled and tapped Audrey lightly on the head. The Fire Spirit Wheat grains on the plate were seeds; if they ate them all, they would have to start cultivating them again.
Medivh took some grains to store in the treasury as the original seed stock. He had the Skeleton Mages send the rest back to Storm City to be planted in the farmlands of the Fire Element District.
Once Fire Spirit Wheat was being grown on a large scale and production had stabilized, Audrey would be able to eat Fire Spirit Wheat honey bread every day.
