The plane landing battle had succeeded. They were now locked in a stalemate during the siege.
Once the Indigenous Allied Forces could no longer hold out and retreated, Loran and the other city-states would pursue them, expand their territories, and establish the Human Federation on the Kazma Plane.
"It's time to advance!"
The situation in the Barren Mountain Region was stable, so Medivh didn't need to pay it much attention for the time being.
In early April that year, Medivh sensed that his mental power had been thoroughly honed and began preparing to advance to Fourth Rank Intermediate Mage.
With six kinds of new Red Bone Skeletons as catalysts and his mental power in an activated state, Medivh successfully broke through the minor bottleneck.
Four years had passed since he advanced to Fourth Rank Low Mage.
The further a mage progressed, the harder cultivation became. The days when he could advance an entire major rank every few years were long gone.
After advancing to Fourth Rank Intermediate Necromancer, Medivh unlocked the ability to refine Top-Grade Red Bone Skeletons, as well as the ability to revive High-Grade Red Bone Common Skeletons and Mid-Grade Red Bone Transcendental Skeletons.
High-Grade Red Bone Skeletons started at Fourth Rank High. The minimum strength of his skeleton army had risen by another level.
After advancing to Fourth Rank Intermediate Mage, Medivh assessed the condition of his body and soul. He found they still weren't strong enough to support a Low-Grade Yellow Bone Bone Spirit.
He needed to progress further along the Necromancer path, or make a major breakthrough along the Dragonblood Knight or Dragon-Vein Mage paths, before all the bones in his body could advance to Fifth Rank Bone Spirits.
After advancing to Fourth Rank Intermediate Necromancer, Medivh reviewed the developments of the past two years.
