The will of the Goddess of Light did not descend, and no trace of Fel Energy was detected either. Clearly, Lux's mind had not been corrupted by the Fel Will.
"Hey, I just suddenly felt like hugging you. Was there any need to react so dramatically?"
Lux chuckled softly. When she opened her eyes and saw Medivh standing guard beside her, she couldn't help wanting to hug him.
The gesture made Medivh think she had lost her mind, leading to an embarrassing misunderstanding.
Once he realized the mistake, Medivh let out a sigh of relief. Lux still hadn't let go, so he didn't move either.
Freya glanced at them but didn't interrupt the quietly blossoming tension between the two.
"Thank you!"
The silent intimacy continued for a while. Lux gave Medivh a wet cheek-to-cheek kiss to thank him, then pulled her arm back and let go, her ears turning slightly red.
"Liar. You definitely kept those so-called forbidden books!"
Freya watched Lux's interactions and grumbled to herself.
A few subtle gestures made it clear that Lux had definitely studied those so-called forbidden books that she had claimed to take away and destroy.
Medivh was quite surprised. Lux's affectionate gestures went well beyond an ordinary expression of gratitude. The Light Priestess had feelings for him.
But this wasn't the time for romance. They soon composed themselves, and Medivh controlled the Bone Golem as it flew out of the City of Evil-Purging's elemental well. With Lux and Freya in tow, he headed outside the city to join the battle.
While Lux had been unconscious, the army of Fel Monsters that had been driven back by Final Spark had returned.
The remnant, half-aware Fel Will wanted to break through the spatial blockade and spread Fel Energy before more of the Legion of Light
