"Freya, what's the current situation in the Fel Space?"
As he shared afternoon tea with the ladies, Medivh asked about the state of the Fel Space.
It had been more than half a year in the blink of an eye since both his mage and Bone Spirit ranks had advanced, followed by the subsequent division of Bone Spirit Substitutes. Medivh was concerned about the progress of suppressing the Fel Space.
"The surface of the Fel Space is under control now. No Fel Voids will affect the surface anymore. All that's left is for City of Evil-Purging and the sunlit Mycelial Carpet to spread across the land!"
Freya briefly explained. The Fel Space had been discovered early, so its premature outbreak had little impact. With the Legion of Light gradually arriving, it had already been suppressed.
Learning from the Necrotic Realm, the Goddess of Light had not destroyed this Fel Space. The Church of Light was stationed there to keep it suppressed.
The Sages of Light had adopted the Holy Remains City model, using Block Cities and Mycelial Carpets to divide and compress the Fel Space.
In the future, the Fel Space would be divided into numerous Fel Secret Realms, trapped within Block Cities. The Church of Light would not stop Fel Monsters from appearing, which would cause the Fel Energy to be redirected.
The Church of Light would wait for the Fel Energy to erupt, then rely on the Block Cities to clear out the monsters in the Fel Secret Realms.
This would allow the Fel Energy to exist without spreading, a good way to maintain the balance between light and darkness and preserve order in the Star Sea.
