In mid-February of the following year, as the Wrynn Family flourished, the Dragon-Kin Continent of the Blackstone Plane grew lively.
The Dragon-Kin Continent was one of the four continents of the Blackstone Plane.
When the dragons' authority had fallen away and the Blackstone Plane had become a grand stage for the powers of other planes to vie for supremacy, not every Dragon Blood Tribe had perished or retreated to the Dragon-Breath Wilderness.
The Dragon-Kin harbored great ambitions. They had broken away from the dragons' rule and were persecuting other Dragon Blood Tribes.
At the time, only the Red Dragon Clan remained among the Blackstone Dragons. They lacked the strength to keep the Dragon-Kin in check. The dragons were targets of hostility from all sides, and since the Dragon-Kin persecuted Dragonblood Creatures but didn't hunt dragons, the Red Dragon Clan hadn't wiped them out.
They slaughtered other Dragonblood Creatures at will, refined their blood essence to strengthen their own bloodlines, and rose to prominence in the chaotic era, becoming the overlords of the Dragon-Kin Continent.
The Dragon-Kin weren't descended from any one clan. They were a tribe formed from the merging of many different kinds of Half-Dragons.
As their ambitions swelled, the Dragon-Kin had long since stopped taking orders from the Red Dragon Clan. They were an independent tribe.
For years, the Red Dragon Clan had lain low in the Dragon-Breath Wilderness,
