History
Fragrant Flower Pavilion Incident
Feng Shouzhuo attended the Wenjin Society gathering with several wealthy young men before being taken to the Fragrant Flower Pavilion. There, he encountered Su Wantang and became intensely infatuated with her. 3 4
The encounter left him gaunt, weak, and obsessed with seeing Wantang. His primordial yang had been drained, yet he continued to defend her character and insist that he loved her sincerely. 4 9
Recovery and Martial Foundation
Shouzhuo later recovered abruptly: his previous memories of Su Wantang were erased, his complexion became unnaturally ruddy, and his body possessed a martial foundation comparable to Body Refining Grand Completion. 22 26
He was placed under Han Che's instruction in the Feng Family Five Force Fist. Though initially slow to adapt and inclined to compare himself with Feng Xiu and Han Che, he became increasingly committed to training and approached the Blood Burning realm at extraordinary speed. 27 42
Uncle Zheng eventually revealed that Su Wantang had created his exceptional blood-and-qi foundation by taking Zhou Gang's vital energy and blood. Shouzhuo was shaken by the revelation, but resolved to continue cultivating through his own effort. 63
Reconciliation with Su Wantang
After his memories returned, Shouzhuo remained devoted to Su Wantang despite learning of her connection to his transformation. He protected and comforted her during the conflict with the woman in red, who shared Su Wantang's memories and affection for him. 67 69
Feng Xiu ultimately accepted Shouzhuo and Su Wantang being together and began arranging their future marriage. 68 73
Appearance
Shouzhuo's appearance changes drastically after his recovery. Formerly pale, frail, and unable to sit upright without support, he later becomes robust, ruddy-complexioned, and steady in step. 4 22
- Wears a clean blue robe following his recovery. 22
- Produces visible steam and sweats heavily after practicing the Five Force Fist. 42
- Has bright, energized eyes during martial training, contrasting with his former listless demeanor. 42
Personality
Before martial training, Shouzhuo is flighty, timid before Feng Xiu, neglectful of study, and easily led by emotion. His infatuation with Su Wantang overwhelms his judgment even while his health deteriorates. 4 26
Cultivation gives him greater discipline and confidence. He genuinely enjoys the sensation of training, continues practicing without being prompted, and begins seeking responsibility within the Feng Clan. 42 46
He remains competitive and eager to prove himself, particularly before Feng Xiu, Han Che, and Su Wantang. However, he can reflect on criticism, accept guidance, and recover quickly from the blow of learning that his initial foundation was not entirely his own. 42 45 63
Abilities & Skills
Blood Burning Cultivation
Shouzhuo possesses unusually abundant qi and blood, allowing him to enter the Blood Burning realm only days after approaching its threshold. 42 44
- His powerful physique lets him endure Feng Xiu's sparring strikes and force Feng Xiu to take his attacks seriously. 45 46
- His raw force is sufficient to pressure Han Che in direct exchanges. 73
- His foundation originated from Su Wantang's intervention rather than normal gradual cultivation. 63
- His early Blood Burning cultivation is unstable; he relies excessively on brute force and lacks refined control of his internal force. 45 46
Feng Family Five Force Fist
Shouzhuo trains in the Feng Family Five Force Fist under Han Che and uses it to build and stabilize his blood-and-qi core. 42 46
- Repeated practice strengthens his fist momentum and drives his qi toward the Blood Burning threshold. 42
- Feng Xiu considers it more important for Shouzhuo's long-term foundation than immediately pursuing more advanced techniques. 46
- He initially struggles with the pain and coordination required by its sinew-and-bone conditioning. 42
Dragon Snake Martial Seal
Shouzhuo learns the Dragon Snake Martial Seal, a mental cultivation method centered on ambidextrous combat, yin-yang circulation, and simultaneous left-right attacks. 45 60
- Uses the Dragon Snake Combined Seal, forming Green Snake and Flood Dragon seals with separate hands. 45 73
- The Dragon Snake Breathing Method divides internal qi into rising dragon qi and sinking snake qi. 60
- His attacks can generate two distinct surging forces and maximize the output of his qi and blood. 46
- He initially lacks the acupoint knowledge and force control needed to use the art safely and efficiently. 46
Martial Insight and Joint Strikes
Shouzhuo proposes that the Dragon Snake Martial Seal should first be grounded in compatible yin-yang martial arts rather than merely forcing individual forms together. Feng Xiu and Han Che recognize the value of this insight. 60
- Successfully performs a two-person Dragon Snake combined strike with Han Che. 73
- Their coordinated attack cracks the refined-steel surface of a training dummy. 73

- Su Wantang — His beloved. Their relationship began at the Fragrant Flower Pavilion; her actions caused both his initial collapse and his abnormal martial foundation. Feng Xiu later approves their union. 4 63 68
