Virtual Universe, Qualification Battle Space.
Li Dui's matches always drew a fair amount of attention. The moment he vanished, spectators immediately cried out in shock.
This situation clearly meant he had left the Virtual Universe. In other words, Li Dui had run into serious trouble in reality.
In an instant, word spread.
Those close to Li Dui, upon learning the news, immediately began checking his Virtual Universe status. Finding that he was indeed offline, they anxiously sent emails inquiring about the situation.
They all knew he was in the Xueluo World. That was a dangerous mission, with a mortality rate as high as 50%.
Hong barely managed to defeat his opponent. Just as he was teleported out, he heard the crowd buzzing about Li Dui's matter.
His heart grew even more anxious. Li Dui, this fellow townsman, was straightforward in character and sincere in his dealings with others. He had high talent and worked extremely hard. Hong had always liked him, considering him a very important pillar for the future of Earth's lineage.
But at this moment, there was nothing he could do. He could only wait for news from Li Dui.
Within the clouds.
Li Dui put the twelve maidservants into the World Ring. He continued flying upward, waiting for those three Domain Level cultivators to follow.
The three hesitated for a long time beneath the clouds, arguing fiercely. In the end, they concluded that Li Dui must be carrying some extraordinary treasure. Otherwise, there was no way he could have caused such a commotion. Acknowledgment by the Origin Law? They never even considered that. That kid was only Cloud Sky Rank.
The three intertwined their domains and charged into the clouds. Even if that brat had a great treasure, what power could he, a mere Cloud Sky Rank, actually unleash? Three Domain Level cultivators joining hands—how could they fear him?
They saw the kid up ahead and were about to give full chase to seize the treasure, when the kid's figure suddenly vanished.
Just as they were startled and suspicious, a terrifying blade light swept across. The overwhelming might directly melted the three of them, bodies and Life Cores alike, into nothing.
Li Dui shook his head and sighed. Not because of that single blade light, but because of the movement technique he had just used to traverse along spatial ripples.
He felt that this movement technique was no small thing. It was like crossing space itself, appearing instantly beside an enemy.
He waved his hand to release the spaceship, entered it, and ordered Xiao Le to move far away from the Xueluo World.
Li Dui stopped suppressing himself and released half of his consciousness, letting it follow that beckoning sensation.
A silver ocean, boundless and endless.
This was the origin place of the Law of Space within the entire Primal Universe. The aura of the Law of Space was infinite, permeating the vast ocean. The terrifying pressure emanating from the ocean did not harm Li Dui's consciousness, because he had already gained the acknowledgment of this Law Ocean. He had merged with a single droplet. He could drift along with the waves within this ocean, exploring the Law of Space.
It was truly so clear. At least several thousand times clearer than when he had relied on himself to comprehend the Law of Space before.
Yet, clarity—was it useful? The Hula Hoop big shot wouldn't even give you a sidelong glance.
It was like this: even with clarity, you could only see some chaotic brushstrokes up close, strange shapes, incomprehensible pictures. After looking, you still had to rely on yourself to understand them.
But my Hula Hoop big shot—he was like a great dictionary, with every word written out, complete with explanations, clarifications, word combinations, and usage methods.
How could you compete?
His consciousness withdrew from the Origin Law of Space ocean. Li Dui's heart was filled with joy. In just over a hundred years, he had reached this level. Acknowledgment by the Origin Law of Space was a standard King Rank level of insight. It meant that relying solely on the Law of Space, he could stand on the eighteenth floor of the Heavenly Bridge.
In other words, he was guaranteed to become a King Rank Immortal at minimum. A King Rank Immortal, even if killed, as long as his soul wasn't controlled, could be revived by the race.
And with his Hula Hoop, the possibility of his soul being controlled was very small. He still had the chance to self-destruct.
He had Xiao Le fly in any random direction. This area was no longer safe; he needed to get far away.
He was about to log back into the Virtual Universe—his matches weren't over yet.
"Boom~~~ Wang~~~"
A strange, resounding boom shook Li Dui's soul.
An inconceivable force descended, slowly pouring into his soul.
Li Dui was utterly shocked. This force, even as it entered his soul, radiated an infinite pressure. This pressure was not harmful, yet it was an irresistible power that made one unable to even conceive of resistance. It was like a mother's embrace, evoking a sense of attachment.
"What is this now?" Li Dui was dumbfounded. He was connected to the Ring. Even this seemingly supreme pressure did not affect his clarity of mind or his ability to control himself.
When this mysterious force enveloped his entire body, his consciousness was drawn. This point, Li Dui, connected to the Ring, could prevent. This situation was somewhat similar to the Illusion Sea. Of course, this force was immeasurably more powerful than the Illusion Sea.
But Li Dui felt that he could still forcibly sever this force's pull on him.
He did not stop it. Because he vaguely recalled something. This situation seemed somewhat similar to that matter.
His consciousness was led, traveling through unknown places that were sometimes dark, sometimes flickering with strange lights.
Soon, Li Dui's consciousness entered a space filled with countless drifting light points. Each of these light points seemed to contain inconceivable might.
At this point, Li Dui was fairly certain what this was.
But why was that guiding force still leading my consciousness forward?
Passing through the region where these countless light points gathered, Li Dui's consciousness was carried higher and higher.
Until the light points below were almost imperceptible. Ahead, three light orbs, noticeably brighter and larger, abruptly appeared.
The three large orbs were in the middle, and the one positioned slightly higher transformed into a streak of light, shooting rapidly toward Li Dui's consciousness. Li Dui had already guessed the gist, and instead of dodging, he felt anticipation.
"Chi." The light point merged into Li Dui's consciousness.
"Weng~"
A vast amount of information merged into his consciousness.
Before he could even examine this information, his consciousness instantly returned to his body from that mysterious place of light points.
"As I thought." Li Dui understood in his heart. His guess had been correct.
This was a gift from the Primal Universe—an innate secret technique.
The information contained within that speck of light was carved into Li Dui's consciousness like the stroke of a blade. The complexity and profundity of this information were such that Li Dui could not comprehend a single part of it, nor grasp even a thread. Yet, as long as he followed the steps in order, he could execute it.
As he came to understand the secret technique, Li Dui's eyes grew wider and wider, and wild joy surged within his heart.
The secret technique: Puppet Body of Self.
It was divided into three levels.
The first level could be used upon reaching the law comprehension of a King Rank Immortal. Using one's own flesh, blood, and soul as a foundation, it created five avatars, each possessing twenty percent of the original body's physical and soul strength.
When not being controlled, the avatars were like dead things. By injecting a sliver of soul, one could control an avatar. Because both soul and body were split from the self, controlling them felt no different from controlling the main body.
Controlling one avatar allowed the exertion of the avatar's full strength.
Controlling two avatars simultaneously allowed the exertion of ninety percent of each avatar's strength.
Controlling three avatars simultaneously allowed the exertion of eighty percent of each avatar's strength.
Controlling four avatars simultaneously allowed the exertion of seventy percent of each avatar's strength.
Controlling five avatars simultaneously allowed the exertion of sixty percent of each avatar's strength.
The second level could be used upon reaching the law comprehension of a Universe Master. Using oneself as a foundation, it created ten avatars, each possessing fifty percent of the original body's strength.
Controlling six avatars simultaneously allowed the exertion of fifty percent of each avatar's strength.
Controlling seven avatars allowed the exertion of only forty percent of each avatar's strength.
Controlling eight or more avatars allowed the exertion of thirty percent of each avatar's strength.
The third level could be used upon reaching the law comprehension of a Universe Supreme Being. Using oneself as a foundation, it created twenty avatars, each possessing eighty percent of the original body's strength.
This—this was simply monstrous!
