Background and History

Morosa leaves the Dim Land to avenge Dikeman, whom Yin Congyang had suppressed and destroyed. It hopes to lure out Yin Congyang—known as Lord Kaitian—by devouring Miniature Universes. On its way through the Qingfeng World, Morosa incapacitates a Universe Master, extracts information through an illusion, and drains his divine power 290.

After an encounter with Luo Feng forces Morosa to sacrifice its strength to escape, other World Beasts hunt it within the Dim Land. It returns to the Universe Ocean, where Yin Congyang captures it in the Star-Plucking Tower and soul-enslaves it. Every surviving World Beast senses the enslavement and regards Morosa as an enemy 296 297.

Morosa supplies the human True Gods with intelligence on the World Beast nest and guides Yin Congyang and Luo Feng to other World Beasts. As it consumes their targets, it regains and surpasses its former rank. When only Morosa and the Tier 6 Kana remain, Yin Congyang defeats Kana; Morosa becomes the World Beast King 299 302 305 308 310.

Yin Congyang keeps Morosa’s identity as King guarded after they enter the Origin Continent. Morosa later advances to Chaos Master, gestates a legion of warriors, and replenishes that legion from World Beast warrior remains during battle. It also serves as Luo Feng’s sparring partner 313 324 329 331 334.

Appearance

Morosa can change its form. Before becoming King, it has a ferocious World Beast body with two heads, each bearing a single eye. As King, it takes on a more humanoid form 290 296 310.

• Original form — Taller and more ferocious than Dikeman; has a front and rear eye and a long black tongue used to drain a victim’s divine power 290 296.
• King form — One head, two arms, two legs, two facial eyes, and two upward-curving white horns; its skin bears intricate blood-colored patterns 310.

Personality

Morosa is proud and fixated on becoming the final World Beast King. Its confidence leads it to treat Universe Ocean lifeforms as prey, but Dikeman’s death makes it more cautious about unfamiliar opponents 290 297 298.

After its enslavement, Morosa obeys Yin Congyang and shares information that could help eliminate its own kind. It retains its resentment toward Luo Feng: even much later, it takes satisfaction in defeating him during sparring 298 299 334.
