The demon tiger let out a low growl, its eyes fixed tightly on the woman. It was furious at this woman who had barged in, but it did not attack at once. There was an aura about her that made it deeply wary.
"Wretched beast, why haven't you retreated?" the woman in white shouted again. Her voice was cool and clear, yet exceptionally pleasant to hear.
"Human, this is my prey. You have gone too far!" The demon tiger conveyed its intent through divine sense. It disdained learning human speech, but communication through divine sense completely transcended the barriers of language.
"What utter nonsense!" the woman in white rebuked coldly. "Retreat at once, or I will cut down your ten thousand years of cultivation!"
The demon tiger stared at the woman in white, its tiger eyes grim. After a long while, it slowly backed away. Once it had withdrawn a mile or two, it suddenly beat its wings and soared into the sky, vanishing into the distance in an instant.
