Background
Zhou Heng was initially unable to cultivate and was regarded as a “cultivating waste” within the Zhou Family. The Black Sword harmed him for ten years, yet also enabled his extraordinary ascent from the First Layer of Body Refining to the Spirit Gathering Realm in just over half a year. After killing the servant Zhao Si for attempting to poison him and crushing Zhou Kan, Zhou Jianming expelled him from the clan. 21 50
His father, Zhou Dinghai, remained his most important family tie during his early rise. Zhou Heng repeatedly acted to protect his father’s honor and safety, while Zhou Dinghai trusted his son’s unusual ability to progress without ordinary cultivation resources. 19 155
Zhou Heng later learned that his Purple Flame Heavenly Dragon bloodline descended from the Eternal Great Emperor. Zhou Hongshen identified him as a descendant of Zhou Qianwen, the Eternal Great Emperor’s brother, through a branch that remained on Xuangan Planet. 315 551
After ascending to the Immortal World, Zhou Heng gained renown as the King of Destruction. He eventually entered the Dragon Domain after receiving dragon bloodline from five Dragon Empresses, though the old Azure Dragon later recognized that Zhou Heng was not a true dragon. 843 1019 1076
Appearance
Zhou Heng is generally seen in blue robes and carries himself with a calm expression even when facing powerful enemies. As his cultivation rose, observers increasingly described his bearing as innately majestic or emperor-like. In a later appearance, he is depicted with white hair flying around him. 203 296 1135

- Can transform into a purple divine dragon after acquiring dragon bloodline. 1019

Personality
Zhou Heng is direct, proud, and intensely unwilling to yield. Han Yiyao describes him as someone who meets “blade with blade,” a trait that often wins him battles but also places him in danger when compromise might be safer. 235
Despite his confidence, he actively warns himself against complacency and recognizes that other geniuses may possess even greater gifts. His confidence is rooted in testing himself against stronger opponents rather than in blind self-regard. 74 663
He is fiercely protective of those he considers his own. He intervenes against those who threaten Lin Fuxiang and An Yumei, frees Ying Mengfan from imprisonment despite the risks involved, and accepts personal danger to help Ancestor Yuhe recover from paralysis. 104 268 707
In combat, Zhou Heng is ruthless toward persistent enemies. He hunts hostile cultivators, cripples or kills opponents who threaten his allies, and refuses to be intimidated by superior realms or powerful family backgrounds. 178 184 236
