The morning sun spilled into the bedroom through the gap in the curtains. Link was awakened by the glaring light and groggily opened his eyes.

He sighed, turned to look beside him, and found his fiancée still fast asleep.

So, Link quietly got out of bed, washed up in the bathroom, and prepared to make breakfast for Rachel.

Outside the kitchen window, the sun was bright and the weather was lovely. A breeze rippled across the lake in the backyard.

At the sight of it, Link froze.

Everything looked so much like last summer—so much that it seemed exactly the same!

He hurriedly took out his phone and checked it, then gently shook his head.

He wasn't dreaming. He hadn't woken up and somehow returned to the summer when they had built a dynasty.

The year on his phone read 2016.

Everything that had happened this year was real...

That's right. A year had passed. It had already been a full year since the Grizzlies built their dynasty in 2015.

In less than a month, Link would turn twenty-eight.

From twenty-two to twenty-eight, Link had unknowingly spent six years as a professional player.

He couldn't help looking at himself in the mirror. Twenty-eight wasn't old, but he did look a little older than the boyish version of himself from back then.

And now, he could no longer be considered one of the league's young players.

Link shook his head. Time had passed even faster than he had imagined.

The last time he experienced a morning like this felt as though it had been yesterday. Back then, turning thirty had still seemed like something far in the future.

But now, it was right around the corner.

Link took two eggs from the refrigerator, heated up a pan, and started making breakfast.
