Yesterday was so busy that I didn't realize until late at night that the chapter I'd scheduled for noon hadn't gone out. I hadn't had time to write a few words about the Sanjiang feature either. Sigh, I'd like to apologize to everyone today and make up for it with a few words about Sanjiang.
As a nobody, I've always felt that the main reason this book made it onto Sanjiang was the support from all the big shots who voted for me, tipped me, and backed me, as well as the trust of my editor.
First, let me talk about all of you. You've been incredibly generous. There are plenty of recommendation tickets and tips every day, and your support has been a great comfort to me. Without you, this book wouldn't have claimed first place on the new books chart in the sports category and earned a spot in the Sanjiang feature.
Of course, my way of paying you back is to deliver every single promised extra chapter. I've already built up a backlog of 30-plus chapters, but honestly, that doesn't scare me. If anything, I'm happy.
For one thing, the more chapters I post, the more it shows how much you're supporting a nobody like me, right? For another, I've been saving these chapters for a long time, so I'm not worried about running out. I may not have as many as the 58 chapters next door, but 30-plus is still a lot. And that number is still climbing.
If I don't get a major recommendation after Sanjiang, I'll probably start charging for the book soon after. Good results could earn me a major recommendation, which would mean better subscriptions once the book goes premium. But all things considered, I figure we've only got about two weeks
