The Clumsy Grizzlies

Before the game began, the cheers at Bradley Center were far from enthusiastic.

The stands were sparsely populated. Link even spotted quite a few fans in Grizzlies jerseys, though he had no idea whether they had traveled all the way from Memphis.

Setting aside those Grizzlies fans who had come to show their support, it was hard to say how many people were actually here to watch this game.

In a place with such low attendance, there was naturally no need for any starting-lineup introductions. The two teams' starting fives simply stepped onto the court to prepare, and Link greeted everyone on the opposing side with the air of a true star.

Having just finished battling the Thunder, Link's mind was filled with the Thunder, the playoffs, the Western Conference Finals... the Milwaukee Bucks? He treated them like a warm-up opponent.

The Bucks' starting lineup truly looked unremarkable. Their backcourt had changed from last season's Monta Ellis and Jennings to veteran Luke Ridnour and the eighth pick from the 2011 draft, Brandon Knight.

Ridnour had always been an unremarkable player in the league. Even at his peak, he was no more than a 10-points, 5-assists kind of player. Brandon Knight was even more of a tragedy. The image of him being shaken to the floor twice in a row by Irving during the Rising Stars Challenge remained the most memorable moment of his career so far.

At center was Larry Sanders, the "artist" who had entered the league in the same year as Link. Why call him an "artist"? Because in the future, this guy would actually give up a multimillion-dollar salary, quit basketball, and go sell tofu! No, wait—he went to pursue art.
