Since last night, I'd been dizzy and vomiting. I couldn't even sleep—whenever I lay down, it felt like the whole house was spinning. I spent the entire night sleeping sitting up. It was pretty serious. Even after resting all morning today, it hadn't improved, so I came to the hospital.
After examining me, the doctor said it was Ménière's syndrome, a neurological issue. He said I was too exhausted and would need to be hospitalized for treatment for the next few days.
It wasn't really that serious, though. Being hospitalized basically just meant getting some treatment before going home; normal life wouldn't be affected much. But calling it not serious didn't feel quite right either—I was still dizzy and nauseous even now, feeling awful, like I'd gotten drunk.
I'd been updating over ten thousand words a day, so the workload really had been pretty heavy. But honestly, I couldn't exactly say I'd been overly exhausted.
Still, I should rest for the next few days while getting treatment. If I can write, I'll write a little, but I definitely won't be able to keep up ten-thousand-word updates. If I truly can't write, I'll let everyone know.
Since I started writing, I'd never missed an update, and my word count far exceeded that of new books from the same period—by nearly a million words. I wouldn't dare call myself a hardworking author, but I definitely wasn't lazy. This time, though, I really couldn't hold on any longer. I'm sorry, everyone.
I'll cooperate with the treatment and recover as soon as possible, so I can get back to the happy life of writing ten thousand words a day. But for these next few days, I hope you'll grant me leave.
Thank you all for your understanding!
That's all. Time to get an injection.
