In the stands at FedExForum, Grizzlies fans clutched their heads in frustration, their eyes filled with disbelief.

Since the All-Star Game, no opponent had ever pushed them into such an embarrassing position. Even in the games they had lost, the Grizzlies had made their opponents work hard for every victory.

Trailing by eight points in a single quarter and being shot into helplessness—Grizzlies fans had not experienced anything like that in a very long time.

The Grizzlies players felt the same way. Even when they had played the Heat on the road in a back-to-back half a month ago, they had never felt so powerless.

On defense, they could only watch as James attacked the rim with ruthless efficiency. Otherwise, all they could do was wait to get shot to pieces.

On offense, Link battled desperately in the crowd again and again. The Heat's collapsing defense was as punctual as an alarm clock. The moment Link stepped into the paint, a group of hulking men in black jerseys would rush in and stop him in the most vicious way possible.

"Both sides are playing with incredible intensity. You can tell they have no intention of saving their energy for the playoffs. Or rather, this game is already part of the playoffs for both teams. We don't know how Coach Dave Joerger will adjust, but I do know that if the Grizzlies fail to get their seventy-second win today, both the players and fans in Memphis will be tremendously disappointed."

Hubie Brown frowned tightly, his eyes fixed on the Grizzlies bench.

Dave Joerger was sitting on a small stool, shouting excitedly as he tried to get the game back on track.

"In the second quarter, Zach is returning to the starting lineup. Seize the opportunity—we're going to attack the Heat inside!"
