The Substitutes Are This Strong!?

The Drew League in Los Angeles and Rucker Park in New York did have many differences, but one thing remained the same—only winners deserved respect.

One weekend in late July, the Drew League regular season continued at Drew Magnet High School.

Today, the gym was packed to capacity, and a sizable crowd of fans had gathered outside as well. Many prominent figures from the basketball world had traveled all the way to Los Angeles just to watch a Drew League game.

Allen Iverson appeared before the fans as usual, dressed in baggy clothes and wearing sunglasses.

During an interview with reporters, Iverson could barely hide his excitement. "This is a matchup you can't even see in the NBA!"

Byron Davis, the former NBA star known as "Captain Big Beard" and an important partner of the Drew League, was also in the gym. Pointing at the Drew League slogan, he looked rather proud. "Today, we're getting a real, no-holds-barred super showdown!"

How could an occasion like this possibly be without the "King of Los Angeles," Kobe? He had brought his wife and daughter with him, and he was just as excited as any ordinary fan. "One game, six NBA players—this is history for the Drew League. Believe me, today's game will go down in the history books!"

Besides that, superstars such as Vince Carter, LaMarcus Aldridge, Lillard, and Dwyane Wade had all arrived. They were all members of Link Training Camp. They had specifically given themselves the day off to come cheer for their training camp companions.

Though the Drew League was always popular every summer, no game had ever drawn such a star-studded audience.

And there was only one reason why today's game had attracted so many superstars—Link was here!
