With the Warriors' record soaring this year, Curry's freakishly accurate three-point shooting had earned him far greater fame than before.
He held the NBA record for the most games with at least five made three-pointers and at least five assists.
He was also the youngest player in NBA history to make 1,000 three-pointers.
Those two records had made Curry's name soar even higher.
