The Plan

"Sister Fang!" Chen Qing stood up and greeted her with a smile.

Jiang Fang rolled her eyes at Chen Qing. Ever since the three Luo brothers had left Earth, every faction had wanted to send disciples to her, and she'd been sick of it. In the end, Chen Qing had persuaded her to come here and go into seclusion.

She'd been astonished by her disciple's comprehension. She'd watched him derive a basic saber technique with thirtyfold force from the 312 Basic Forms of Martial Artists.

He'd even tailored a saber technique for her, Water Ripple, one that pointed straight toward the Domain. That had kept her here for sixty years!

He used to call her "teacher," but after she'd lamented that she wasn't qualified, he'd started calling her Sister Fang.

And now that had changed again! But after thinking it over, she didn't object. The figure in her heart had long since disappeared, and she'd lost many colleagues and friends, too.

"You used to look pretty excited whenever I broke through. Why are you standing here in the breeze today?"

Jiang Fang brushed back her short hair, acting as if nothing had happened. She simply looked at Chen Qing, whose smile hadn't faded.

"We've grown up, Sister Fang. If we scaled down our ages to match, you'd be thirteen this year and I'd be ten. We'd be childhood sweethearts."

Jiang Fang rolled her eyes again, then simply turned to look out at the sea.

"You're one of the first people on Earth to break through to Star Level. What are you planning to do next?"

Chen Qing didn't mind. Since she hadn't objected, he took it as consent!

Still, he needed a plan, whether to put Sister Fang's mind at ease or to make use of the Luo Family's connections.

There were some things he could tell Sister Fang, like the fact that he could break through to Universe Level at any time.

"First, I'll raise my force level, then I'll refine Water Ripple..."

"Chen Qing!" Jiang Fang interrupted him at once, her face stern. "We're not children. We need to know what matters and act accordingly!"

Chen Qing returned to the training room and licked his lips. Sister Fang had been so stunned by his imposing presence that she'd opened her mouth, and he hadn't been able to resist stealing a kiss.

Remembering how she'd fled, Chen Qing chuckled softly. After savoring the moment for a while, he focused again.

He wasn't refining Water Ripple just for Sister Fang's sake. The key was that he didn't have anything else in hand.

Right now, all his foundation lacked was force. Although he'd used the Primal Universe to comprehend nine levels of Domain, his control had actually become less fluid than before.

He wouldn't spend long at Universe Level or Domain Lord Level. With Green Lotus connected to the Origin Land, he could accumulate energy fairly quickly.

As he worked on deriving the force technique this time, he also needed to sort out his understanding of the Domain.

Chen Qing picked up a quasi-first-tier Snow Shadow Blade. Sister Fang had given it to him as a reward long ago. It was already the best weapon on Earth, so he'd make do with it for now.

"How could I? If I have something good, I'd naturally find a way to share it with you, Sister Fang. I couldn't keep this from you and treat you like an outsider!"

"See that you don't."

"Of course!" Chen Qing replied without missing a beat. "I'll be drifting around out there for years. I'm afraid that when I come back, I won't be able to find my way home!"

"Force is the priority. I've compiled the Nine Basic Forms, with a total of 108 moves and a hundredfold force!

He looked curiously at the big man in front of him. Wasn't he a World Lord's servant in the future?

Di Fan gave a simple bow and gestured for him to follow, then explained as they walked.

"Our transport ship is going to Qiu Long Star to pick up a shipment this time. It works out perfectly for us to travel together."

"Do you go to Qiu Long Star often?"

"Not usually. We mostly go to Bailan Planet. This is only the second time in decades. I'll help you register your identity and set up a Virtual Universe account while we're there!"

"I understand. That's already a great help. Please give my regards to Madam Luo!"

"I will. Also, save my Virtual Universe account. If you ever need anything delivered or picked up, just let me know."

"Okay!" Chen Qing understood. This was to keep their coordinates from being exposed. That reminded him—wasn't Babata always monitoring Earth?

Still, Babata probably wouldn't disturb Luo Feng without good reason. Hopefully that little brat wouldn't get scared by him later!
