The entire sword was pitch-black, grimly cold as a prison. Even as it advanced, it constantly devoured the light around it.
Yet Sun Xiaoman's small bare foot was like an iron hammer. She kicked it without letting it fly away, sticking to it and kicking again and again. The force of mountain collapse and tsunami all poured into the blade, kicking it apart on the spot into hundreds and thousands of scattered sword-lights.
