The Man in the Mirror and Mystic Tortoise realized Su Ze had displayed Demigod power and feared he might target the Veiled Society. After returning to A-15 Blue Star, Su Ze claimed Jiang He owed him her life and left the remaining work to the others as new gates appeared around the world.

• The Man in the Mirror and Mystic Tortoise watched the Faceless Man's death and concluded Su Ze was strong enough to defeat a Demigod Grade monster.
• Mystic Tortoise worried Su Ze would target the Veiled Society and blamed Shen Liu's scheme, while the Man in the Mirror questioned where Shen Liu had obtained his spells and rituals.
• Lillian, Chi Zhiyuan, Jing Yue, and Jiang He regrouped at the temporary base after Jiang's body recovered.
• Su Ze told Jiang He that her life belonged to him because he had arranged her rescue, then showed her the Demigod battle to prove his power.

He met Dru, a Great Yith Race member inhabiting a human body, who sought the buried Nekter City and its mysterious book, The Notebooks.

After reaching Nekter City, Su Ze saw a glimpse of a vast library before the Great Yith Race vanished with their findings, leaving him to turn his attention to Jiang He’s tribulation.
