"Thank you, Senior Brother." Chen Yue carefully put away the two thin booklets and thanked him again.
Back at his own little courtyard, Chen Yue eagerly read both booklets from cover to cover, committing every formula, illustration, and key point to memory.

"Wave your hand? Toss noodles?" Chen Yue stared at the two results, his expression bewildered.
Waving his hand made sense. One of the core movements in throwing hidden weapons was swinging the arm. Repeatedly waving his hand would train his wrist and arm strength, as well as the sensation of snapping something outward. Logically, it held up.
But tossing noodles----what did that have to do with archery?
Chen Yue pictured himself holding long chopsticks and stirring noodles in a pot. Then he compared the image with the manual's descriptions of drawing a bow like the full moon and loosing an arrow like a shooting star. No matter how he tried, he couldn't connect the two.
The panel's simplification logic was sometimes wildly imaginative and utterly baffling. By comparison, waving a hand was almost ridiculously normal.
