Power Progression
| Stage / Realm / Level | Chapter | Notes |
|---|---|---|
| Ordinary race | 102 | Humanity’s historical standing before its rise under the Primal Ancestor. |
| Pinnacle race | 20 102 | The Primal Ancestor led Humanity to the summit of the universe’s racial hierarchy. Humanity retains this classification after his suppression. |
History
The Primal Ancestor was responsible for Humanity’s rise and guided the experts who became its leadership. Although only the Chaos City Lord and Lord of Darkness formally became his disciples, the other Universe Masters also regarded him as their shared teacher. He additionally created the Virtual Universe, which continued to benefit Humanity after his suppression 102.
After challenging the origin of the Primal Universe, the Primal Ancestor was suppressed for endless ages. Giant Axe Founder became Humanity’s principal protector, curtailing his adventures and concealing his true strength because the race’s security depended on him. Humanity remained a pinnacle race, but its leaders believed it lacked the overwhelming deterrence it had possessed under the Primal Ancestor; Giant Axe also lacked a Strongest Supreme Treasure 89 102.
Organization and Leadership
Upper Echelons
Humanity has eighteen Universe Masters, also referred to as Universe Lords. Its highest council meets in the Virtual Universe, with Giant Axe Founder occupying the seat of honor 85 102.
| Figure | Position and Significance |

| Primal Ancestor | Founder, creator of the Virtual Universe, and mentor to Humanity’s senior experts; currently suppressed 102. |
| Giant Axe Founder | Humanity’s only active Universe Supreme Master and its foremost protector following the Primal Ancestor’s suppression 89 102. |
| Chaos City Lord | One of Humanity’s top three overlords; presides over the Initial Universe and is an actual ruler of the Virtual Universe Company 22 85. |
| Lord of Darkness | Universe Master and formal disciple of the Primal Ancestor 102. |
| Lord Peng Gong | An elder of Humanity and participant in its highest council 102. |
| Lord Huang Jian and Lord Qingdong | Universe Masters present at the council reviewing Qin Ming’s achievements 102. |
Major Institutions
- Virtual Universe Company — Organizes the Peak Genius Tournament, trains selected geniuses, administers cultivation resources and missions, and maintains an extensive intelligence network 3 31 50 62.
- Giant Axe Dojo — A pinnacle human power identified alongside the Virtual Universe Company as a source of systematic training and resources 49.
- Universe countries — Humanity’s territory contains 1,008 such countries. Their rulers participate in evaluating major talents, and the countries jointly assist the Virtual Universe Company’s Genius Tournament 3 21 76.
- Hong Alliance — Provides a ranked membership system and gathering place for powerful experts. Qin Ming receives a two-star rating, while the Chaos City Lord holds an exceptionally secure position within the alliance 85.
Population and Territory
Humans are divided into three broad populations according to their living environment. The inhabitants of the universe countries constitute only a small portion of Humanity’s total population 76.
| Population | Relative Size and Habitat | Cultivation Potential |
|---|---|---|
| Universe country humans | Fewest in number, but occupy the most territory 76. | Have produced many Immortals and 98.2% of Humanity’s Universe Venerables 76. |
| Cosmic secret realm humans | Second-largest population; inhabit enormous continents, some hundreds of billions of kilometers across 76. | Can become Immortal, but very rarely produce Universe Venerables 76. |
| Divine Kingdom humans | Largest population; live and reproduce within countless immortal Divine Kingdoms 76. | Normally limited to World Lord. Fewer than ten thousand have become Immortal across countless years, all through special opportunities 76. |
- Territorial competition: The disproportionate contribution of universe country humans to Humanity’s strongest ranks makes territory strategically important. Larger territories produce more powerful experts, helping drive conflict among the six peak races 76.
- Earth: During Qin Ming’s visit, Earth possesses established cold-weapon civilizations, martial artists, and qi refiners. Its strongest inhabitants are only approximately fourth- or fifth-rank apprentices 52.
Talent Recruitment and Development
Peak Genius Tournament
The Cosmic Humans–Peak Genius Tournament is held once every ten thousand years by the Virtual Universe Company, with assistance from all universe countries. It offers talented competitors a route into one of Humanity’s strongest institutions 3.
- Ganwu Universe Country alone registers more than 952.7 billion Star Level competitors for Qin Ming’s tournament 4.
- Its preliminary selection takes place across one hundred independent virtual worlds 4.
- The event attracts attention from both Immortals and ordinary citizens with Virtual Universe access 4.
Cultivation and Evaluation
| Resource or System | Function |
|---|---|
| Chaos City and the Initial Universe | The developing universe visibly manifests Origin Laws, making comprehension easier than in the stable Primal Universe. Selected geniuses can enter at Star Level 25. |
| Chaos Steles | Chaos City houses 52 Chaos Tablets. Qin Ming selects the Heavenly Ruins Chaos Stele to study Gold–Space laws 27 28. |
| Secret Realm membership | Determines access to resources and guidance. Slots are competitive rather than permanent; the Primal Secret Realm normally has three Universe Level positions 31. |
| Heavenly Bridge | Measures progress in law comprehension; Qin Ming’s ninth-level clearance places him above the existing Universe Level Primal Secret Realm members 31. |
| Illusion Sea | Tests illusion resistance and willpower. Exceptional results are reported to the Virtual Universe Company 60. |
| World Lord Level Primal Heavenly Mountain | Passing marks a cultivator as one of the most exceptional geniuses in human history, associated with talent appearing once in ten million eras 73. |
Training remains dangerous despite these advantages. Of the thousand geniuses in Qin Ming’s cohort, 793 survive their thirty years in Chaos City; those departing afterward face further dangerous trials and life-or-death missions 33.
Protection of Geniuses
- Secrecy: Humanity stops live Trial Space broadcasts to conceal Qin Ming’s potential, and the Chaos City Lord classifies what the universe country rulers witnessed as a highest-level racial secret 20 22.
- Identity screening: The Chaos City Lord investigates Qin Ming’s origins and examines the compatibility of his soul and body to rule out possession or infiltration 26.
- Protected records and identities: Qin Ming’s battle footage receives clearance restrictions. His public battlefield identities are maintained separately from his true identity to reduce assassination risks 85 89 105.
- Exceptional investment: Remembering Kedi’s death, the Chaos City Lord gives Qin Ming unusually extensive resources and protective treasures 71.
Military and Security
Outer Battlefields
Humanity fights sustained racial wars on the Outer Battlefields. There are eleven battlefields, each with one hundred bases; the Fourth Battlefield has the highest death rate 76.
- Command obligations: Even the Chaos City Lord’s personal disciple must obey military command until completing the required military merits 81.
- Merit-based independence: After accumulating one billion military merits, Qin Ming gains permission to leave or operate independently 81.
- Rewards: One hundred thousand military merits can be exchanged for one Chaos Element Unit or, for Virtual Universe Company members, one company point 81.
- Command option: An eligible independent fighter may instead lead an army of one hundred World Lords, one thousand Domain Lords, and ten thousand Universe Level warriors 81.
- Entry restriction: The Four Peak Races governing the Outer Battlefield prohibit Universe Venerables from entering 101.
Virtual Universe Battlefield Support
The battlefield support system requires a fighter’s primary consciousness to remain actively connected to the Virtual Universe 77.
| Function | Range |
|---|---|
| Display allied positions and coordinates | One billion kilometers 77 |
| Broadcast emergency distress calls to humans and allies | Ten billion kilometers 77 |
Infiltration and Countermeasures
Possession, soul control, and alien infiltration are persistent security threats. The Zerg-controlled Yaohai Family acted as battlefield traitors for a million years before becoming the target of a Virtual Universe Company purge mission 26 62.
The operation assigned Qin Ming the Ninth Legion and an elite Black Earth Tribe force led by nine Immortals. Fifty armies surrounded the ancestral star while another fifty targeted the family’s scattered personnel. The Zerg had deliberately arranged the family’s exposure as bait for an assassination attempt against him 62 64.
External Relations
- Zerg — A major enemy responsible for infiltration, soul control, and assassination plots against human geniuses. The Zerg also engineered Kedi’s death 20 62 84.
- Monster Race — A rival peak race involved in attacks on human talents and direct battlefield competition 20 98 100.
- Machine Race — Another hostile peak race participating in assassinations and Outer Battlefield warfare 20 98 100.
- Black Earth Tribe — A subordinate alien race whose strongest expert is comparable to a universe country ruler. Its Immortals assist Humanity’s operations 64.
- Ordinary and weak races — Humanity accepts willing subordinate races, but reserves core interests and desirable assignments for humans while delegating dangerous or exhausting work to its dependents 64.
Major Story Developments
Qin Ming’s Emergence
Qin Ming’s tournament performance brings him to the attention of Humanity’s senior leadership. The Chaos City Lord confirms that he is human, judges his talent superior to Kedi’s, and accepts him as his thirty-second direct disciple 20 26.
Mist Sea Victory
During the battle for the Myriad Woods Core, Qin Ming joins Humanity’s camp and kills more than a hundred enemy King Ranks. No fighters on Humanity’s side die; only three lose 30% of their divine bodies, while the others suffer no more than 10% damage 99 100.
The victory spreads the Silver Sword King’s reputation across the Fourth Outer Battlefield and reaches Humanity’s highest council. Giant Axe Founder judges that Qin Ming should become a Universe Master at minimum and might eventually reach the Primal Ancestor’s level—a prospect the council regards as a chance to restore Humanity’s former deterrent power 101 102.
Silver Sword King’s Status
After Qin Ming becomes Undying, the Chaos City Lord grants him a mountainside residence on Thunder Island, where he establishes Silver Sword Palace under his concealed identity. Some Venerables resent a publicly King-ranked newcomer receiving status comparable to their own, viewing residence rights as part of the glory earned through their long cultivation 105 106.
