Blade Planet is the Blade Clan’s homeworld and has a reputation across the universe. Every adult clansman possesses at least Planetary-level strength, and members traditionally leave to face life-and-death trials in the cosmos upon adulthood. The clan prizes willpower, direct combat, and the pursuit of strength over luxury or comfort 2.

Sixteen marks adulthood within the clan. Breaking through to the Planetary Realm at fifteen is considered normal, while many achieve it at thirteen or fourteen 3. This culture produces powerful fighters but also places intense expectations on young members, particularly those expected to uphold the clan’s martial legacy 2 159.

The Blade Clan’s fearsome external reputation stems from its warlike culture and the many powerful opponents who have fallen to its members. In several star regions, its name is associated with bloodthirst and ferocity, though individual clansmen differ greatly in temperament 20.

History

The clan was already an established Immortal-backed force during Bai Yuan’s youth. Its Immortal God had historically brought back cultivation resources and secret techniques, enabling the clan to produce numerous experts despite its members’ relatively ordinary bloodline potential 2 30.

During Bai Yuan’s generation, the clan competition became a showcase for exceptional young fighters, including Bai Yuan, Bai Xingyun, Bai Luoyan, and Bai Kaluo. Bai Yuan ultimately took first place, while the competition drew the attention of Universe Realm experts and strengthened the clan’s standing 5 7 16.

Internal leadership disputes later came under scrutiny from Blade Marquis. He condemned the suppression of clan geniuses and the clan leader’s failure to stop it, then removed the previous leadership after judging their cultivation progress inadequate. Bai Le was appointed as the new clan leader 69 70.

Bai Yuan’s success in the Genius Battle brought outside factions to Blade Planet in large numbers. The Black Dragon Mountain Empire and neighboring powers sought closer relations with the clan, expecting Bai Yuan’s future rise to make the Blade Clan increasingly influential 101.

Eight centuries later, Bai Yuan returned to Blade Planet and found that the people he had known had left. The next generation nevertheless continued to face the same martial expectations, with Bai Tianxin criticized for neglecting blade cultivation in favor of business 158 159.

The Longke Clan later attempted to leverage a marriage arrangement involving Bai Tianxin while openly disparaging the Blade Clan. Bai Yuan’s return as a World Lord ninth stage overturned the confrontation and forced the Longke representatives to recognize the disparity in strength 160 161.

Blade Marquis subsequently recognized Bai Yuan as the Blade Clan’s Second Ancestor. Bai Yuan accepted the position and provided extensive resources to strengthen the clan, while Blade Marquis entrusted him with the clan’s management before departing to explore the universe 195 169.

Bai Kuangren’s breakthrough to Immortality marked a major expansion of the clan’s foundation. Bai Yuan supported the breakthrough with manuals, resources, and guidance, then stationed powerful plant lifeforms on Blade Planet for its future protection 223.
