Chapter Summaries

Jiang Yuechu killed Ao Shun and absorbed his corpse into the Dark Prison, strengthening her Myriad Phenomena World. Meanwhile, Ao Yu struggled against two White Dragon guards in the Water Mansion and considered retreating to bring reinforcements for Jiang Yuechu.

• Ao Shun threatened Jiang Yuechu with his Life Token, but she ignored him and examined the visions inside her Dark Prison.
• Golden-Scale Venerable held Ao Shun still while Jiang Yuechu opened the Dark Prison gates and killed him with her physical strength.
• The Dark Prison's Locking Hooks dragged Ao Shun's corpse inside, and his aura expanded Jiang Yuechu's Myriad Phenomena World from fourteen hundred meters to two thousand meters.
• Ao Yu fought two White Dragon guards in the ruined Water Mansion but was badly wounded and overwhelmed.

Jiang Yuechu rescued Ao Yu from the Second Prince’s men, then nearly attacked the apparently dying crown prince before he revealed that he had faked his death. The crown prince survived, and Jiang Yuechu withdrew her spear, leaving his fate unresolved.
