Later, Yahiko died, Nagato took over, and Akatsuki became a terrorist organization dedicated to collecting Tailed Beasts." The Raikage's voice thundered through the main hall. "Pain—that is, Nagato—is already dead. But Akatsuki's threat has not disappeared, because the man calling himself 'Uchiha Madara' is still alive."
"Uchiha Madara?" Ōnoki snorted. "I have seen the real Madara. He was a demon. But that masked fellow—he cannot be Madara."
"Why not?" Mei Terumi asked.
"Because Madara already died in the Battle of the Valley of the End. The First Hokage killed him with his own hands. That is a fact." Ōnoki said, "That masked man is either impersonating Madara, or he is some successor of Madara's. But whoever he is, there is no doubt that he possesses the Sharingan and can control Tailed Beasts."
"And the Rinnegan." Tsunade spoke up.
Everyone turned to look at her.
"After Pain died, that masked man took Nagato's Rinnegan." Tsunade's voice was calm. "In other words, he now possesses both the Sharingan and the Rinnegan."
The temperature in the main hall seemed to drop by several degrees.
