Background / History

Yuya died by electrocution while playing the mobile game Road of the Strong and reincarnated in the shinobi world. Senju Hashirama found him as a child and took him into his household, where he was raised under Hashirama and Uzumaki Mito's care. He retained the Gold-Gold Fruit ability from his previous life and immediately began studying gold veins throughout the Land of Fire. 1

As a Konoha Academy student, Yuya was conspicuously unlike other children: he appraised classmates' lunches, thought in terms of projects and labor, and considered how to turn gold extraction into personal and village-wide capital. His conventional ninjutsu studies progressed slowly, while mathematics and the Clone Technique were his strongest academic subjects. 6 10

Hashirama and Tobirama recognized Yuya's potential early.
