The two Split Bodies Ryan had divided out both possessed most of the personality traits from his previous life. Compared to absolutely rational Wizards, they possessed more of the Seven Emotions and Six Desires released by mortals.
That did not mean the Split Bodies lacked a Wizard's rationality. They still maintained a standard level of it.
They were simply more lively and vivid.
"I refuse to accept this!"
Moon God Ryan raised one arm, stubbornly held up his middle finger, and showed the backbone a man ought to have.
"When I come of age, I will surely repay today's humiliation. Just you wait, you violent woman."
Xi Ya glared, and nameless fury directly manifested above her head, blazing with billowing heat.
"You really are stubborn, aren't you!"
"I simply refuse to accept it. Stating the facts will not change the outcome."
Crack!
Xi Ya was so furious that she stepped forward and snapped that arm, then grabbed it and planted her foot on his chest, continuously wrenching it until Moon God Ryan cried out in agony.
"I'll count to three one more time. Do you submit or not?"
Even she herself did not know what was wrong with her. Her emotions had suddenly surged, and she wanted an answer that satisfied her.
No one had ever defied her before, not even people close and familiar to her.
A dark crimson crystal shoe pressed against his neck. It carried no strange odor; instead, it held a faint scent of roses. Its sharp heel had stamped an extremely distinct indentation into him.
Moon God Ryan changed his tune. "I submit, all right? I submit!"
Xi Ya loosened her grip slightly and sneered. "I thought your bones were so hard. Turns out you're nothing special. Is that heartfelt submission, or merely verbal submission?"
