Intelligent beings always preferred compromise. No matter how powerful or ancient they were, they could never escape the conventions of the world.
Andersen had only one goal, from beginning to end.
That was to leave his home planet, a place watched by countless eyes.
If he made even a little noise, he would probably draw the attention of certain beings.
No privacy. No freedom.
And he couldn't truly reclaim his power, either.
Andersen had left contingencies behind not only in Primal Heaven, but in other Great Myriad Worlds, the Complete Myriad Worlds, and even beyond the Wizard Civilization.
Whether those contingencies could be used depended on whether his current scheme succeeded.
His development should never have taken this course.
After his initial revival in the Umbral Expanse, he should have taken another path: concealed himself, grown stronger, and reclaimed the power he had once wielded at his peak. That would have given him more opportunities to scheme in the shadows. He shouldn't have had to use the Vast Cloud Beast in the Frost Snow Land, either.
But everything had changed in the end. One of the Daylight Grand Wizards now valued the variable and kept him under his protection. Since he had not encountered him on the Star Battlefield, Andersen could only sigh in frustration at being unable to act.
He could only wait and see if he could bring this variable—who had thrown his plans into disarray—under his control in the future.
Andersen was certain that certain people had their eyes on him now.
If he didn't change course, slip out of their sight, and disappear into the shadows, the situation would no longer be one where his anchor body was sealed in the disordered turbulence of the Space Layer, leaving only a remnant of his essence to plan
