"Did something go wrong with the plan?!"

The Daylight Wizard furrowed his brow. There were only two possible reasons for the disappearance of a Consciousness Soul.

The first was that, in reality, the Wizard's true body—the source anchor—had chosen to withdraw its primary consciousness and return.

The second was that something had gone terribly wrong. The body had been gravely injured or even killed, and could no longer maintain its consciousness link with Stars Space, cutting it off.

Neither possibility was good news.

The five major committee forces had joined hands. There was no force in Frost Snow Land that could resist them.

In theory, nothing should have gone wrong.

The Daylight Wizard thought of the forbidden power they were going to touch.

His certainty wavered.

Each stage of the Wizard's path was separated by a vast gulf.

This was especially true once one became a formal Wizard and set foot on the path to True Spirit. The gap became even more pronounced.

At the apprentice level, it was still possible to defeat stronger opponents and fight above one's rank.

But a True Spirit Wizard could never do so, unless they were some kind of heaven-defying Supernatural Lifeform.

Even the differences between Wizards of the same level were terrifyingly vast.

The Daylight Wizard knew he was no powerful Wizard.

When he was young, his talent and aptitude had been quite ordinary.

That was only when compared against Wizard forces that possessed the Pact of Stars, however.

Among the Wizards who came from the Wizard gatherings in the Online Area, whether they were young or old and powerful, he was confident he could utterly crush them.

The Daylight Wizard's eyes were frighteningly cold. *They're touching a forbidden power from a higher level, a realm beyond the understanding of Radiant Moon Level
