The purple world barrier could not stop its claws. With a thunderous crack, a hideous horned head forced its way inside. Within its mouth, Andersen's head emerged, his features twisted with savagery and excitement.

It greedily, almost manically, sucked in a breath of the world's atmosphere—the incredibly dense Ether Energy Tide.
