Ryan extended his right hand. The veil of space before him parted, revealing the entrance to the Inner World.
Beyond the doorway lay a strange and colorful landscape, with a sun of a different hue and bizarre terrain. It was the deep Inner World that Wizard Venerable Emperor had once taken him to.
"The knowledge in the Black and White Library needs to be absorbed."
"Brewing a Legendary Potion requires an environment where I'll be safe from interruptions."
Ryan stepped inside. The world before his eyes shifted wildly, and by the time his foot touched the ground, he had returned to the Nightmare Forest.
Towering trees, seven-colored clouds, and endlessly babbling streams filled the forest. Lives that constantly shifted between reality and illusion combined the traits of the Dream World and the Inner World, and could be brought into the Real World.
But now was not the time to harvest them.
Ryan needed to claim his inheritance.
He looked toward the Venerable Emperor Domain.
He recalled how Wizard Venerable Emperor had taken him to visit one Radiant Moon Wizard after another, and all the gains they had made.
A trace of melancholy passed through Ryan as he gazed into the distance, as if he could see that disheveled yet spirited figure.
Wizard Venerable Emperor had pointed toward the Venerable Emperor Domain and laughed. "If I die one day, everything I own in the Real World will belong to the Crimson Academy. But you can take whatever you want from my assets in the Inner World."
Ryan had retrieved some of the things he wanted from the Venerable Emperor Domain and sealed them away.
The various crystal lifeforms sank into silence, waiting for the next person to release them.
