Rosier nonchalantly put away her wand.

The man turned around unsteadily. Seeing his companion collapsed behind him, he wet himself from the waist down and slowly sank to his knees on the floor.

Wentworth, who had already been lying on the ground, barely managed to push himself up with both hands and keep from collapsing completely.

Although these people had clearly come to save him, seeing how casually they wielded the Unforgivable Curses made him forget all the excitement he'd felt when he first arrived in this world. All that remained was shock.

If the memories lingering in his body hadn't told him that it was 1990, that Harry Potter wouldn't start school until next year, and that Voldemort wouldn't return for another year, Wentworth would have genuinely suspected that these people before him were real Death Eaters!

After all, there were plenty of Death Eaters who were all talk and no action, but the people before him cast their spells with such effortless fluency!

By then, Rosier had covered her nose and walked up to the man. She asked gently:

"Just now, which hand did you use to hit this child? Come on, be good and tell me. Be a good boy!"

The man raised his left hand, trembling.

At this, Rosier smiled and lifted her wand, lightly tapping the man's left hand. It began to rot rapidly. As the man wailed, it didn't take long for his left hand to be reduced to a pile of bones.

Staring at his bony left hand, the man rolled his eyes and fainted.

Rosier frowned at the sight and said to someone beside her:

"Wake him up, then ask where he came from. Take him to another room. There are children here!"

And so Wentworth watched as an old man with somewhat graying hair dragged the man who had hit him into the kitchen. A moment later, a voice rang out from inside:

"Crucio!"

The man's anguished screams followed.

"Gulp!"

Wentworth swallowed hard. When he saw Rosier walking toward him, he hurried to his feet and respectfully called out:

"Grandma Rosier!"

Rosier looked at Wentworth with delighted surprise, and even a hint of guilt.

"Wentworth, I'm so glad you're all right!"

Someone beside her exclaimed:

"My goodness! He really does have his Master's blood in his veins. He's recovered so quickly after being hit with the Cruciatus Curse, as though nothing happened. It's incredible!"

Rosier caressed Wentworth's cheek, looking proud.

"To endure the Cruciatus Curse and recover so quickly shows that you have an unbreakable will! You've done your name proud, my child!"

Wentworth could only give an awkward smile. He couldn't exactly tell these people, who cast Unforgivable Curses as casually as if they were drinking water, that someone else had taken over this body!

Just then, the old man who had dragged the man who slapped Wentworth into the kitchen came back. Rosier asked him:

"Abernathy, did you find anything out?"

The old man, whom they called Abernathy, shook his head and replied expressionlessly:

"I'm sorry, no. He died too quickly. But there was something familiar about the smell on him."

At Abernathy's answer, Rosier nodded thoughtfully. Just then, Wentworth raised his hand timidly.

"Sorry, may I ask what exactly happened tonight?"

It was no wonder Wentworth was confused. He had searched through all the memories of this body, but he still couldn't understand what a child raised by a House-elf had done to attract so many dark wizards!

Seeing Wentworth's bewildered, even disheveled expression, Rosier stepped forward and gently straightened his clothes as she asked:

"Wentworth, how much do you know about the wizarding world? What has Libby told you?"

Hearing Rosier's question, Wentworth, a seasoned Harry Potter fan in his previous life, immediately puffed out his chest and replied:

"I've heard lots of stories about the wizarding world. Libby told me plenty! But Libby never told me my surname!"

This was something Wentworth's predecessor had always wanted to know, too. In his memories, he had asked Libby about it many times, but she would rather bang her head against a wall than answer. In the end, he'd had no choice but to let it go.

Coming back to the present, Wentworth found that Rosier had finished straightening his clothes. He had to admit that this body was quite good-looking: short blond hair, a tall, slender frame, and eyes that seemed to glow.

Rosier looked at Wentworth, lost in a daze. After a long while, she finally spoke:

"Wentworth, remember: no matter what happens, never lose your elegance, because your name is Wentworth Grindelwald!"

"Wentworth Grindelwald?"

Wentworth murmured the name under his breath. The surname seemed familiar, but after the emotional roller coaster of the night, he couldn't remember where he'd heard it before. He assumed it was the name of a Pure-blood family.

"Hearing that surname, I'm sure you understand your heritage now, don't you?"

Wentworth looked up and saw Rosier gazing at him intently. The people behind her were doing the same, as though the surname held some kind of magic.

At the sight of this, Wentworth's heart jumped. If these people found out he was an "impostor," occupying the original body after the real Wentworth Grindelwald's soul had already been snuffed out, he feared they'd make it impossible for him even to die.

After all, it wasn't impossible. This was a world of magic, and Wentworth didn't believe that these people, who had spent decades immersed in the Dark Arts, couldn't perform Legilimency.

The reason they hadn't used Legilimency on him was clearly because of the identity of this body and some connection between them that he didn't know about.

Thinking of this, Wentworth quickly straightened his back again and replied with feigned pride:

"Of course. I'm Wentworth Grindelwald, a member of the noble Grindelwald Family!"

Hearing this, Rosier looked at Wentworth with satisfaction and relief. She nodded slowly and said:

"Good. Your paternal grandfather was the Master's younger brother, and you, as the only surviving member of the Grindelwald Family besides the Master, should have that kind of pride!"

As she said this, Rosier's expression suddenly darkened. She let out a deep sigh and said ruefully:

"Your willpower and pride have both done the Grindelwald name proud. If only you weren't a Squib!"

What?!

Wentworth Grindelwald's eyes widened in disbelief!
