It is currently five in the morning—yes, you read that right. This is usually the time I, the author, crawl out of bed to write in a room without heating in the north, because I still have work or social obligations during the day.

And the reason that supports me in getting up, without the slightest exaggeration, is seeing the comments, votes, and tips you all leave when I open my eyes at this hour. Without your support, it would be very difficult for Mo Xiang to crawl out of a warm blanket.

For the vast majority of web novel writers, writing books doesn't actually make money—at least not as much as a regular job—but the inner satisfaction gained is something work simply cannot replace.
