Life in the mountain village

Monica was raised in an isolated mountain village deep within the Magical Beast Mountain Range. She had lived there for as long as she could remember, largely sheltered from the outside world by her father, Desri, who considered it too dangerous. She helped the village by tending medicinal herbs, washing clothes, caring for children, and gathering remedies. 56 57

When Akes arrived in the mountains while fleeing the Radiant Church, Monica used light magic to stabilize his severe internal injuries. She then guided him to the village and personally oversaw his recovery, preparing medicinal meals and gathering Blue Moon Herb for his wounds. 56 57

Relationship with Akes
