Ao Zhan explained that the Douluo God Realm had trapped Soul Beasts between heavenly tribulations and human hunting, then proposed Alien Energy as a way for both humans and Soul Beasts to grow without Spirit Rings. He revealed that Spirit Bones made from the resentment of Alien Energy-cultivating Soul Beasts would become dangerous burdens for the humans who absorbed them.

• Gu Yuena asked Ao Zhan whether he could protect the Soul Beast Clan from heavenly tribulations and human hunters.
• Ao Zhan introduced Alien Energy, saying conviction could let humans advance without Spirit Rings and spare Soul Beasts from being hunted for them.
• Golden Crocodile warned that Soul Masters would still hunt Soul Beasts for Spirit Bones.

Ao Zhan explained that Soul Beasts could avoid both human hunting and the heavenly tribulation by replacing Soul Power with Alien Energy. Gu Yuena pledged the Soul Beast Clan’s allegiance to him, while Qian Renxue grew jealous of their closeness.

• Gu Yuena and Di Tian welcomed Ao Zhan’s proposal to use Soul Bone resentment to deter Soul Masters from hunting Soul Beasts, but Qian Renxue pointed out that it did not solve the heavenly tribulation.

• After Di Tian left, Gu Yuena admitted to herself that she wanted to be more than Ao Zhan's ally and ordered Di Tian to prioritize Ao Zhan's commands.
• Yuan Lie and Ten Thousand Demon King badly injured the Titan Giant Ape and Sky Azure Bull Python for their disrespect.
• Ao Zhan arrived at the Lake of Life, heard the Soul Beasts ask how he would deal with the two captives, and asked where the rabbit was.

Ao Zhan discovered that the pink-haired baby Qian Daoliu had found was Tian Yu, whose Exotic Energy had become a living person rather than lodging in someone’s body. The group accepted that she was Pluto’s daughter in that unusual sense, and Guang Ling joked that Qian Renxue would have to call her aunt.

• Qian Daoliu returned from his courtyard carrying a pink-haired baby who had appeared nearby, and the group questioned where she came from.
• The system told Ao Zhan that Tian Yu’s Exotic Energy had become a person and that the baby had appeared near Qian Daoliu because Pluto’s Exotic Energy was inside him.

• Zi Ji told Ten Thousand Demon King that the Soul Beasts of Star Dou Forest would support him as he sought to redeem himself.

After Di Tian beat Dugu Bo and Ao Zhan healed him, Dugu Bo realized Ao Zhan might be able to save his family from their Jade Phosphorous Serpent poison.

• Gu Yuena asked Ao Zhan whether he could resurrect the Ice and Fire Dragon Kings, and he said their remnant souls remained at the bottom of the spring.
• Dugu Bo confronted the group and demanded that they hand over Gu Ningqiu, but Ao Zhan ordered Di Tian to beat him without killing him.
• Ao Zhan healed Dugu Bo’s injuries and suppressed the Jade Phosphorous Serpent poison in his body, giving Dugu Bo hope for his family.

Ao Zhan learned that Dugu Bo had found the blue-haired infant Long Jian at the Ice and Fire Yin Yang Well and promised to cure the Dugu Family’s poison. When Dugu Bo brought his family and Long Jian to Ao Zhan, he discovered the physician there was Ye Renxin, whom Ao Zhan had not seen in six years.

• Dugu Bo knelt and asked Ao Zhan to save his son, daughter-in-law, and unborn grandchild, and Ao Zhan agreed to cure the Dugu Family’s martial soul defect.
• Dugu Bo revealed that he had found a blue-haired infant by the Ice Spring and taken him to his family.
• Ao Zhan concluded that the infant was Long Jian, formed from Long Jian’s Alien Energy, and told Dugu Bo to bring his family and the child to him.

Ao Zhan recalled arriving in Douluo Continent as a three-year-old and meeting Ye Renxin before Qian Daoliu brought him to Spirit City. In the present, Ye Renxin explained Ao Zhan’s extraordinary rise to Dugu Bo.

• Six years earlier, Ao Zhan learned from his system that a wormhole had sent him to Douluo Continent and that Qian Daoliu was watching him.
• Ao Zhan met Ye Renxin near Spirit City and climbed a cliff to retrieve a rare medicinal herb for him.
• After Ao Zhan parted from Ye Renxin, Qian Daoliu appeared and took him to Spirit City.
• Back in the present, Ye Renxin told Dugu Bo that Ao Zhan had challenged and defeated Spirit Hall officials, including Title Douluo elders, beginning around age six.

Ao Zhan explained how the Dugu Family’s Jade Phosphorous Serpent Poison accumulated and presented the Poison Pill Method as a way to contain it and support cultivation. Dugu Bo used the method to purge the poison’s visible effects, broke through to Rank 90, and was left ready to advance further with another Spirit Ring.

• Ao Zhan explained that Jade Phosphorous Serpent Poison accumulated as the Dugu Family cultivated and that simply removing it would weaken them and prevent further cultivation.

• Tang Xiao confirmed that Ah Yin was a Hundred-Thousand-Year Transformed Soul Beast and recounted Tang Hao’s actions, enraging Tang Zhen and the Clear Sky Sect elders.
