Honestly, I hadn't been in a good state lately.
I couldn't muster any enthusiasm for anything.
If I had to put it into words, I was probably a little depressed.
Though it probably wasn't the same as depression—my mindset had just kind of fallen apart.
Recently, I'd gotten really into Grand Blue.
I finished both seasons on Friday, then caught up with the entire manga on Saturday.
After finishing everything, I was left with an indescribable sense of loss.
I thought it might have something to do with the manga not being finished yet, only updating once a month, and possibly even releasing boring side stories.
Early Sunday morning, because I still hadn't had enough and couldn't stop thinking about it, I rewatched the entire anime and then started rereading the manga.
The more I read, the worse I felt inside.
If I had to say why, I probably yearned for that kind of life.
Comparing my own life to the life in the manga, the feeling that everyone was supposedly ordinary people, yet their lives were worlds apart from mine, left me deeply disappointed. It even gave rise to some bad thoughts.
It had left me in a really bad state.
A few days ago, I was usually writing six to eight thousand words a day.
But starting Friday, I not only wrote nothing that day, but only managed a little over three thousand words on both Saturday and Sunday.
My backlog was almost gone because of this, yet I kept feeling completely listless.
Honestly, I felt so tired.
For a while, I didn't even know where to go from here.
If I could hold on, I planned to travel alone somewhere along the coast during summer vacation. If possible, I also wanted to try diving.
