In the Beast Arena Instance where Chang Xu and the others were, Goat announced new rules.
Outside the time allotted for beast-fighting games, Players from different teams still could not attack one another, but Players on the same team were no longer subject to any restrictions.
His scheme was obvious: he clearly wanted to force the Players to kill one another and obtain enough food by murdering their teammates.
"Your allotted food has already been placed in your respective rooms. I hope you enjoy your meal!" After delivering the exact same farewell as on the first day, Goat left the Beast Arena alongside the animals, who streamed together like a tide.
The Players stood atop the platform, in no hurry to return to their rooms as they began discussing the matter among themselves.
"What does that Goat mean?" Lin Ye spoke first. "Did he think not enough people died today, so he wants us to kill our teammates?"
"No, killing teammates isn't the goal." Chu Xun shook his head. "You all remember the rule that says 'teammates may not lend each other points,' right? Only after any member of a team dies will the team's total points be consolidated onto the survivor.
"It takes three thousand points to make a wish. Of our six teams, aside from Qi Si and Nian Fu's team at the bottom, as well as Dong Xiwen and Lai Na'an's team, who just spent points buying food, every other team has a total of over three thousand points."
