Ch. 364Appetite

Qi Si became a god, shut out the prayers of mortals, and returned to Rose Manor to consume the contract and claim its authority. After absorbing the contract’s memories and history, he left their identities uncertain and returned to the divine hall, where the Eerie Game welcomed him back as the Main God.

  • Qi Si awakened in the Game Space as a god, restored the temple, and used the Sea God Scepter to silence the prayers surrounding him.
  • Qi Si confronted the contract at Rose Manor, learned that the contract wanted their authorities to converge, and agreed to a final gamble over which of them would control his body.
  • Qi Si and the contract bit and consumed each other, exchanging authority, flesh, and memories as both bodies turned partly to bone.
  • Qi Si absorbed the contract’s memories and learned that it had created the Eerie Game to resist The Rules and avoid being consumed in a coming reset.
  • The contract asked Qi Si to plant roses across the world, then crumbled as Qi Si left the castle carrying a rose.
  • Qi Si returned to the divine hall, cleared the mural’s gray mist, and heard the Eerie Game welcome him back as the Main God.

Ch. 365Incomplete

The Ruins of Sunset ranking stele transformed into a list of twenty-two Identity Cards, confirming that the final Instance was approaching and that most Players would be excluded. Qi Si studied the cards and his incomplete memories, then tried the sealed temple again and wondered what he still lacked.

  • Players gathered at the Ruins of Sunset and debated whether the Identity Cards determined who could enter the final Instance.
  • Qi Si examined the stele, recognized three ownerless cards, and resolved to take Puppeteer's [Eyes-Closed Dictator] card so he could advance toward [Lord of Gods].
  • Qi Si reflected on his incomplete memories and the mysteries surrounding his multiple slots, the returned dead, and Lin Jue's [Dark Judge] card.
  • Fu Jue and Lin Chen arrived at the World Tree and met in a tense stare while Lin Chen's Soul Leaf sought Qi Si's guidance.
  • Qi Si left the gathering and tried to open the abandoned temple, but it again told him he was not complete enough.

Ch. 366Return to Double Happiness Town

Chen Hao and four other players entered Double Happiness Town, where a God-level NPC's arrival changed their rescue mission into a quest to slay an Evil God. Meanwhile, Qi Si returned to the Instance to retrieve his missing finger bone, discovered it belonged to a different time and space, and prepared to face the Players and the Rules.

  • Chen Hao introduced himself and the other players as their raft approached the blood-red Double Happiness Town.
  • A God-level NPC's arrival triggered errors, and the Players' main quest changed from rescuing Xu Wen to slaying the Evil God.
  • Qi Si returned to Double Happiness Town, found the coffin that had once held him empty, and realized he was in a different time and space than before.
  • Qi Si gained Xu Wen's memories, learned that no Players had found his finger bone, and put her into the coffin before leaving the temple.
  • The Rules issued the Players a mission to kill Qi Si, and he watched the five Players gather by the well, confident he could challenge the Rules.

Ch. 367Peace Talks

Lin Chen met Fu Jue at the Ruins of Sunset and publicly agreed to possible cooperation between their guilds, but a mysterious blood-red thread appeared around his finger after they shook hands. In Double Happiness Town, Qi Si confronted Li Yao about the Evil God Finger Bone and spared her, revealing that he was the god who had once altered her fate.

  • Lin Chen went to the Ruins of Sunset to assess the ranking monument and encountered Fu Jue, who proposed discussing the final Instance.
  • Lin Chen refused a private meeting, questioned whether Fu Jue spoke for Nine Provinces or Listen Wind, and heard him propose an alliance with the Unnamed Guild.
  • Lin Chen publicly accepted a conditional reconciliation after Fu Jue apologized for Chang Xu's actions, then left and discovered a blood-red thread coiled around his little finger.
  • Li Yao hid in the Temple of the Joyous God as the other Players died and the Instance descended into chaos.
  • Qi Si appeared before Li Yao and asked whether she had seen his finger bone; she recognized him as the Evil God who had once imprisoned her soul and ordered her to conceal it.
  • Qi Si decided not to kill Li Yao, calling her an interesting discarded piece, and vanished from the devastated temple.

Ch. 368Obscuring Mist

White Crow continued purging the Church of the Scales and prepared to use the deaths in Xiang City to empower her [Utopian Orator] card, even as resistance grew and the Federation appointed Aleksei Olegovich as acting governor. Qi Si observed the sacrifice and his changing nature, then returned to his body and considered whether to answer prayers by offering people rose seeds.

  • White Crow reviewed the purge’s death toll and treated the followers’ deaths as sacrifices toward drawing a card with [Utopian Orator].
  • Asakura Yuko warned White Crow that opposition to the purge was growing and the Church of the Scales risked internal conflict; White Crow insisted the purge would continue and revealed the card’s power.
  • Qi Si reviewed prayers and Soul Leaves, noticed White Crow’s sacrifice in Xiang City, and reflected that his memories and feelings were increasingly distant from humanity.
  • Qi Si returned to his bedroom, rejected the Contract’s suggestion that he abandon his body, replied to Lin Chen, and watched forum posts shift attention toward the Unnamed Guild.
  • Qi Si tried to grow the Contract’s golden rose seeds, but they failed to take root; the Contract suggested that he answer prayers and have people plant the roses for him.

Ch. 369Puppeteer

At Ruins of Sunset, Qi Si met the Puppeteer and agreed to let Sariel use one of his [Scarlet High Priest] minor cards to enter the final Instance in exchange for cooperation. After the meeting, Qi Si traveled to Qi Family Village, where The God’s powers returned to him and he discovered Liu Pu had become a puppet.

  • The Puppeteer asked Qi Si to lend Sariel a minor card and bring one of his puppets into the final Instance, offering a Soul Contract in return.
  • Qi Si accepted the proposed cooperation and handed the Puppeteer the [Merchant] Card, while warning him that he remembered his threat against Fu Jue.
  • Qi Si’s controlled body collapsed after leaving the teahouse, and the chapter revealed that he had used an [Insomnia Pathogen] victim as his proxy for the meeting.
  • Qi Si considered how to fill his remaining final Instance slots without revealing the Unnamed Guild’s shortage of available Players.
  • Qi Si rode with Liu Pu from Jiang City to Qi Family Village, where entering the fog restored The God’s powers and revealed a translucent thread on Liu Pu’s wooden pinky.

Ch. 370Slaying the Righteous

Fei Zhenqi and Ning Xu tried to escape the deadly ghost domain in Qi Family Village, while Qi Si prepared Xu Yao to enter the Eerie Game. Their apparent escape led them straight to Qi Si, who killed them after learning Ning Xu had no close ties to Jin Yusheng.

  • Fei Zhenqi and Ning Xu endured another night of attacks in Qi Family Village, and Ning Xu recalled how she had first resolved to follow Fu Jue.
  • Qi Si gave Xu Yao the [Noble] card and asked her to bind it and enter the Eerie Game as a player.
  • Fei Zhenqi carried the wounded Ning Xu toward a glowing door while paper people pursued them, and the door transported them to Qi Si's house.
  • Qi Si confronted Ning Xu about her relationship with Jin Yusheng, then used blood-red vines to kill her and Fei Zhenqi.

Ch. 371Survivor Game

Dong Xiwen turned a deadly Crazy Blackjack game into a draw, saving himself and Yang Yao, then received an Identity Card from Bob on Qi Si’s behalf. In Jiang City, Qiu Lihua’s wish for her son’s safe return came true, and the chapter ended with an ominous young man appearing at her pancake stall.

  • Bob told Jack that his client wanted the two men from Dragon County kept alive, and warned him about the Church of the Scales and the Insomnia Urban Legend.
  • Bob gave Dong Xiwen an Identity Card called “Audience” from the “Fool Deceiver” set and prepared to take Yang Yao away under contract.
  • A young man in a red suit gave Qiu Lihua a rose stem and promised her wish would come true; the rose bloomed, and Yang Yao called her.
  • A young man in black with golden eyes arrived at Qiu Lihua’s stall and ordered an egg-filled pancake.

Ch. 372Holiday

After Fei Zhenqi and Ning Xu's names turned black in the Life Register, Qi Si learned that Jiang City was being searched for him and chose to remain in Qi Family Village. As players prepared for the Final Instance, Lin Chen told Qi Si that someone seemed to be impersonating him, leaving Qi Si facing the possibility that there were two of him.

  • Mu Dongxu and Liao Bingchen watched Fei Zhenqi's and Ning Xu's names fade to black, and Fu Jue announced that Qi Si had been placed on the S-rank wanted list.
  • Qi Si saw the search of Jiang City, considered Jin Yusheng's warning, and decided to stay in the Qi Family Village ghost domain.
  • Qi Si summoned Reiko to guard the ghost domain so Xu Yao could accompany him to meet Lin Chen.
  • Players and officials scrambled to prepare for the Final Instance as the Church of the Scales seized control of twelve autonomous regions.
  • At dinner, Qi Si noticed gaps in what he knew about Lin Chen, and Lin Chen said someone had been impersonating Qi Si and asked whether there could be two of him.

Ch. 374Plan

A young man in a red suit spoke with Jin Yusheng about Ning Xu’s disappearance and Jiang City’s lockdown while concealing that he was still there. He explained to Li that he had arranged for Li to remain in Chang Xu’s body as part of a plan to oppose the Rules and the Ancestral God Or, then gave Li instructions he refused to explain.

  • Jin Yusheng told the young man that Ning Xu had gone missing and that the Investigation Bureau had traced her disappearance to him.
  • The young man claimed he was still in Jiang City, dismissed Jin Yusheng’s suspicions, and ordered oranges for him.
  • Li asked why he was trapped in Chang Xu’s body, and the young man explained that the world’s rules made separating spirit and flesh difficult.
  • The young man said Or’s return and the Rules’ actions showed that he and Li were not candidates to inherit the Sea God’s authority.
  • The young man told Li that he had a plan to oppose the Rules and Or and had kept Li in the human world to help carry it out.
  • After the young man whispered the plan to Li, Li questioned his reasons, but the young man told him to follow the plan without asking why.

Ch. 375Review

Fu Jue faced a review by Eerie Investigation Bureau officials over suspicions about his conduct and leadership before the final Instance. After answering questions about Jiang City, the God's Descent Incident, and Ning Xu, he was asked to explain Qi Si's role in the Red Maple Leaf Boarding School Instance.

  • Officials from branch offices gathered in Jiang City to question Fu Jue and decide whether he would lead official forces into the final Instance.
  • Fu Jue rejected the claim that his repeated visits to Jiang City meant he had concealed advance knowledge about The Gate.
  • Fu Jue defended his decisions during the God's Descent Incident, saying the Main God could not have been predicted and that abandoning containment minimized losses.
  • Fu Jue explained that he sent Ning Xu to Qi Family Village to protect her from scrutiny, then challenged Fujiwara Shinya over his own handling of a contaminated investigator.
  • An elderly official from Maple Leaf County asked Fu Jue about Qi Si's involvement in the Red Maple Leaf Boarding School Instance and his rise within the Unnamed Guild.

Ch. 376Put on Hold

Fu Jue defended his ties to Qi Si and the Unnamed Guild during an investigation, arguing that he had tried to build cooperation and that bureaucratic failures—not his actions—had delayed the Bureau’s response. The questioning turned to the missing Dice of Fate, and Fu Jue directed the investigators to his report.

  • Fu Jue explained that he had submitted Qi Si’s information and proposed building a relationship with him, but the report had stalled during database review.
  • Fu Jue challenged the accusation that he had concealed Qi Si, pointing out that investigators should have found the information already in the Bureau’s database.
  • After a representative disparaged Lin Jue, Fu Jue remained silent and stared him down until another investigator redirected the questioning.
  • Fu Jue defended seeking cooperation with the Unnamed Guild as a way to prepare for the final Instance and avoid conflict among Players.
  • When asked about the missing Dice of Fate, Fu Jue referred the investigators to File S-1752.

Ch. 377Innocent

After being cleared of wrongdoing, Fu Jue faced pressure from county representatives over who would receive lesser cards and enter the final Instance. He proposed a timed challenge to choose the eight participants and left Li Yunyang with a simple instruction: stay alive.

  • The investigators concluded that Fu Jue was innocent and that the Eerie Investigation Bureau had acted reasonably in the final Instance.
  • A representative asked Li Yunyang about the [Immortal Shaman Priest] lesser cards, and Li Yunyang claimed she had already given them all to her teammates.
  • Fu Jue said the [Fallen Savior] lesser cards remained unassigned and proposed selecting the final Instance team from Players who cleared the most Instances in the next thirty-two hours and thirty-seven minutes.
  • Fu Jue and Li Yunyang scattered rings that would let interested Players match into their Instances, prompting accusations and an argument among the investigators.
  • Fu Jue left with the Dragon County investigators, then told Li Yunyang to adapt to events and do her best to stay alive.

Ch. 378Pollution

  • Yang Yao bragged to the gamblers at Ruidanshen Casino that he had mastered Blackjack in the Survivor Game and forced it into a tie.
  • After returning home on May 1st, Yang Yao promised his mother he would stop gambling, but the urge soon overwhelmed him.
  • Yang Yao found vivid red roses on his windowsill, touched one, and saw visions of wealth and a prosperous life with his mother.
  • A voice told Yang Yao to plant the rose in his heart and nourish it with his flesh and blood to fulfill his desires, and he accepted.
  • Yang Yao returned to the casino, won repeatedly, and ignored the rose brand burning on his chest as vines seemed to grow through his body.
  • Roses burst from Yang Yao's flesh and transformed him into a monster, which offered the gamblers a rose and promised to fulfill their desires.

Ch. 379Spreading

A rose monster spread through a Jiang City casino, granting wishes while driving people to gamble, as its pollution triggered a citywide emergency. Fu Jue traced the outbreak’s spread and questioned whether the contract’s risky plan could succeed.

  • A gambler accepted a rose from the monster, wished to win money, and began winning repeatedly at a slot machine.
  • The gamblers and casino staff took roses and planted them over their hearts; the manager received a rose and regrew his missing leg.
  • The Eerie Investigation Bureau’s pollution monitors exceeded their limits, and Shao Qingmin ordered investigators to prepare for the outbreak while those entering the final Instance stayed behind.
  • Fu Jue examined the Ancestral God Idol and used an Identity Card to witness the rose’s path from a castle to the casino and its spread through Jiang City.
  • Fu Jue concluded that the contract’s plan had a low success rate and relied on considerable randomness and instability.

Ch. 380The Other

Qi Si suspected that another version of himself was manipulating events and entered the Eerie Game to seek the space-time authority left behind by Li. He arrived in the Holy City Instance as a God-level NPC, where the system welcomed him back.

  • Qi Si discussed the approaching final Instance with Xu Yao before entering the Eerie Game.
  • Qi Si reviewed the unexplained changes involving Dong Xiwen and Zhang Yiyu and questioned the contract about his missing memories.
  • The contract told Qi Si that Li had been expelled from the game and that space-time authority remained scattered through the Instances.
  • Qi Si decided to seek that authority, hoping the hidden other self would reveal itself if they crossed paths.
  • Qi Si entered the Holy City Instance despite warnings about his strength and God-level status.

Ch. 381Holy City (I): Holy Lord

Asakura Yuko entered the Holy City instance to investigate the city’s destruction and survive until the final instance, where she encountered Fu Jue and learned of the mysterious Holy Lord. Ch. 382Holy City (2): Heretics

Qi Si entered Holy City as a godlike presence before the Instance began, then greeted the powerful players as they gathered in the temple. Father Rachi revealed that heretics had infiltrated the believers, and the chapter ended as Asakura Yuko received her mission to kill believers and conceal her identity.

  • Qi Si seized control of most NPCs in Holy City, explored the city, and tried unsuccessfully to learn how to obtain Li's remaining authority from Father Rachi.
  • Qi Si dreamed of Li's past beneath the World Tree before the players entered the temple and found him in the seat of honor.
  • The players suspected Qi Si had become the Holy Lord, while members of the Eerie Investigation Bureau worried that their secret warrant against him could put them in danger.
  • Father Rachi announced that heretics were among the players, and their notebooks revealed rules, locations to explore, and faction identity cards.
  • Asakura Yuko received the Heretic card and a faction mission to kill believers so heretics would outnumber them after three days.

Ch. 383Holy City (III): Leader

The Players learned the Holy City Instance’s faction-game rules and debated how to cooperate while investigating the city’s destruction. They chose three leaders and prepared to split up to explore six locations.

  • Father Rachi explained that Believers would judge Heretics by day, Heretics would kill Believers at night, and the Child of God would be protected and hold authority over identifying Heretics.
  • Asakura Yuko questioned the rules, while Qi Si silently considered the Instance’s motives and his own [Heretic] card.
  • The Players argued over cooperation, and Giles Hunt proposed choosing a leader; Fu Jue refused to lead because his faction could compromise his impartiality.
  • The Players agreed to appoint three leaders, with Fu Jue and William taking positions, and Fu Jue recommended Asakura Yuko for the third.
  • Asakura Yuko accepted and suggested forming exploration teams, while Fu Jue named six locations for the Players to investigate.

Ch. 384Holy City (IV): The Schemer

The Players explored Holy City while Qi Si confronted Father Rachi over the Altar and the outsiders. Meanwhile, Giles Hunt and the other representatives plotted to kill Fu Jue, but their gathering at the cemetery ended with a monstrous flesh tumor attacking them.

  • The Players chose locations to explore, and Fu Jue estimated that there were no more than four heretics; Asakura Yuko noticed a flaw in his reasoning.
  • After the other Players left the temple, Qi Si tried to enter the rear courtyard, but Father Rachi stopped him and declared that outsiders would not defile the promised land.
  • Giles Hunt and Fran Parker gathered the representatives who opposed Fu Jue, and six investigators split into three pairs before meeting at the cemetery.
  • Julie had the six investigators secretly mark papers to reveal their roles, but every paper showed a believer; the group then agreed to vote Fu Jue out at the next judgment.
  • A huge flesh tumor rolled through the cemetery, absorbing risen corpses and forcing the representatives to flee.
