The mecha pilot stared at the scene before him, completely dumbfounded.

He rubbed his eyes and looked again.

The planet before him was still in the shape of a gigantic Orange Cat.

The pilot cursed under his breath.

He was indeed a professional soldier. Even when faced with such a bizarre sight, he quickly regained his composure.

The Star Shattering Blade in his hand slashed toward the fleeing Orange Cat once more.

No matter what the enemy turned into, his mission was to destroy the planet before him.

Even if he had considerable objections to that order.

As a career soldier, however, he unconditionally obeyed every command from his general!

Powerful energy erupted from the Star Destroyer Mecha he was piloting.

The absurdly massive Star Shattering Blade radiated a startling glow in space.

The Star Shattering Blade was a weapon specifically developed by the Alunta Empire to destroy enemy planets.

Limited by the mecha's size, it actually looked fairly similar to a Ship-Slaying Blade.

Their sizes were similar as well.

With a weapon of that scale, cutting apart an enemy planet in a single strike was practically impossible.

The Star Shattering Blade worked by disrupting the balance of a planet's gravitational forces, causing the planet to destroy itself through that imbalance.

Just as the mecha's third strike was about to land on the fleeing planet, the pilot suddenly discovered that his mecha had gone out of control.
