Final Thoughts

This book was more or less finished.

Thank you all for your support.

I knew there were still many worlds I could have written about, but I truly didn't have enough inspiration left to come up with settings for new worlds.

There was so much I wanted to write, but my abilities fell short. I simply couldn't write what I wanted to write.

That was true of this book, and it was true of that beast-taming one as well.

It made updating every day incredibly painful.

Most months, the full-attendance deadline was there, dragging me along and forcing me to update.

I was truly worried that one day, that string would snap, and neither of the two books would make it.

Duel novels were hard to write.

Thankfully, the rules were original, and so were the cards.

Balance was an issue, and original content wasn't easy to write either, but when bugs appeared in duels, I could still fix them by changing the card effects.

All I could say was that there were pros and cons.

I wasn't really some seasoned card player.

Readers of my older books should know that too. I never played cards with them in the group chat.

But I had wanted to write this ever since I was little. I didn't know why either. Maybe it was the obsession of someone clinging to their childhood.

Come to think of it, this was my third original duel novel.

The first was in 2018, on Qidian, titled "My Turn! Print the Card." But I dropped it after thirty chapters, so you couldn't find it on this site.

The second was completed in 2022, on another site, titled "Printing Cards Printed Out a Shura Field." It was 2.9 million characters long and counted as my second completed novel.
