Although Luo Xia had explained the potion's side effects to Norman Osborn, he had originally thought that someone as confident—almost arrogant—as Norman wouldn't pay them any mind until he noticed something wrong with his own body.
But once Norman confirmed that it was true, he immediately insisted on joining the group heading to Kamar-Taj.
Luo Xia couldn't understand how a billionaire could just abandon his company to seek out ascetic mages in the Himalayas. Wasn't that kind of irresponsibility something only Tony would do?
Luo Xia had figured that Norman Osborn would wait until they returned from Kamar-Taj, then come asking for help after discovering he couldn't solve the problem himself and suffering through the side effects.
