Compared to Kaecilius, the Ancient One's effortless gesture had somehow pulled everyone's souls right out of their bodies. With an ability this terrifying, killing someone would be child's play.
Everyone's souls floated in the air. Aside from Stephen, this was the first time any of them had experienced such a strange state.
"I've brought all of you into the Mirror Dimension. Whatever happens here won't affect the real world. Now, I'll explain how to fight while you're in your soul forms," The Ancient One said.
"Time moves faster in the soul world than in the material world, because thought is far quicker than the body can handle. You'll feel lighter in your soul forms, and most of your vital organs won't exist at all.
"In this state, it's not easy to hurt one another. That's why you need weapons."
As she spoke, the Ancient One performed the introductory spell. But unlike when Luo Xia and the others used it, she could alter the shape of the original magic circle, transforming it into a pair of folding fans.
"Changing the shape of a magic circle is pretty cool, but what good is a fan? Why not turn it into a gun? Is it because you don't know how guns are built?" Tony asked the Ancient One.
The Ancient One smiled, picked up one of the fans made of light, and waved it at Tony. A gale swept over him, and he was blown away without the slightest chance to resist, crashing into the wall.
Tony was in his soul form, so he passed straight through the wall. No one knew how far he flew. All they knew was that it took him a full minute to reappear through the wall.
"Disguising a fighter jet engine as a fan. Very creative," Tony
