After Crow hung up, excitement and confusion crossed his face. His expression shifted several times before he let out a deep sigh.

"Brother, what's wrong? Who was that on the phone?" Echo asked curiously.

Crow didn't answer. Instead, he asked, "Have you heard of the Queen Gang?"

"The Queen Gang? You mean that newly risen gang? I heard its leaders are two women." Echo's eyes lit up.

Unlike Crow, Echo had likely endured plenty of scorn because of her mutation. It had made her stubborn and unwilling to give in, so she particularly admired legendary women like that.

"Was that someone from the Queen Gang who called you?" Echo pressed.

"I just found out myself that the Queen Gang is a name other people gave them. They actually call themselves the Knights of the Round Table, and their leader is named Artoria Pendragon," Crow said.

"That name doesn't sound American," Echo said curiously.

"Who cares? Artoria just called me. She wants to work with me. If we Mutants are willing to work for her, we can have the Knights of the Round Table's protection and won't have to fear any gang," Crow explained to Echo.

"Something that good is actually possible?"

Echo wanted to agree immediately, but Thor asked cautiously, "What does this Artoria want?"

Crow shook his head. "I'm not sure. She didn't say anything specific. But she'll come talk to me in person, and we can draw up a written contract then. What do you think I should do?"

Thor thought for a moment, then said, "We have no idea what she wants. What if we can't give it to her? Besides, I suspect she doesn't just want you. She wants the allegiance of every Mutant in New Mexico. We don't even have that basic bargaining chip yet."
