The AllSpark energy is the source of life for the Autobots and Decepticons in the Transformers universe. This energy can awaken consciousness in man-made mechanical objects, turning them into metallic lifeforms. The AllSpark is the supreme masterpiece of mechanical civilization, possessing power nearly akin to that of a Creator.
However, Luo Xia does not yet possess such immense power. As he injects the AllSpark energy into this nearly totaled off-road vehicle, the car undergoes an astonishing transformation at the nano-level, invisible to the naked eye. The ordinary metal atoms constantly restructure themselves, becoming transformation elements with infinite possibilities.
Rumble—the engine, which had long since died, lets out a roar. The only remaining headlight on the right side flickers, as if greeting Luo Xia.
"What the hell is this?" The sudden change catches the terrorists completely off guard.
While others might be confused about the state of the vehicle, how could they not know? This car had been drained of all its gasoline; even if repaired, it shouldn't have been able to start.
Luo Xia reacts faster than them. He reaches out, grabs the shattered and deformed window frame, and dives into the dilapidated cab in one motion. A dense volley of gunfire immediately erupts, but every bullet strikes the off-road vehicle, leaving Luo Xia completely unscathed.
"Ah! You shoot at me the moment I'm born? Do you have any humanity or compassion at all? You bunch of societal dregs, vermin, trash, and non-recyclable waste!"
The off-road vehicle emits a cheerful synthesized electronic voice, then roars its engine and charges toward the terrorists who are firing at it. With incredible acceleration, the half-destroyed vehicle hits a speed of over a hundred kilometers per hour within ten meters, sending three terrorists flying upon impact.
Then, with a sharp turn, it sweeps past two other terrorists. As it passes, it swings open its intact right-side door, swatting them away like flies.
"Awesome! That's a home run!" The off-road vehicle plays the sound of a live sports broadcast, complete with canned crowd cheering.
At this moment, an arm reaches out from the broken cabin, quickly and precisely grabbing an AK-47 left on the ground by a terrorist.
The muzzle extends from the window, firing at the terrorists with a rhythmic tat-tat-tat. In just one burst, three terrorists are gunned down.
"Not bad, my marksmanship hasn't rusted," Luo Xia says with a grin from inside the cabin.
The scene is so terrifying that even the terrorists cannot help but retreat a few steps. The terrorist leader, in particular, hides behind the off-road vehicle, likely thinking it is some sort of evil object that, like a human, cannot see what is behind it.
Little does he know, this off-road vehicle can no longer be judged by conventional logic. Soon, he hears a bizarre, automated prompt: "Reversing, please be careful! Reversing, please be careful!"
Unfortunately, the prompt is in Chinese, and the terrorist has no proficiency in the language. Caught completely off guard, he is struck by the off-road vehicle reversing at a hundred kilometers per hour. His luck seems poor, as he is sent flying into a pile of mangled flesh—the corpse of the captive who had been mauled by the hounds earlier. Perhaps startled or incited by the scent of blood, the hounds fail to recognize their master's scent and, seeing only an obstacle to their meal, swarm him and tear him apart.
The screams are incessant. Having just ordered the hounds to maul a captive, he is torn apart by them in the blink of an eye—a fitting end for his crimes.
In just over ten seconds, half of the terrorists have been wiped out. The survivors realize that standard firearms are useless against this strange vehicle, so one of them picks up an RPG rocket launcher.
This is the most common and cost-effective heavy weapon in the Middle East; even children know how to use it. As long as one aims roughly at the target, the rocket can easily destroy anything.
This very off-road vehicle had been totaled by a rocket hit just like that earlier.
Luo Xia switches his fire from automatic to semi-automatic, landing two headshots in quick succession to take down the two terrorists holding rocket launchers. However, on the other side, another terrorist has already fired a rocket at the vehicle. Luo Xia does not yet have the ability to shoot a flying rocket out of the air with an AK.
But Luo Xia is not worried, for the vehicle he sits in is no longer ordinary; it is no longer a sitting duck waiting to be hit.
As the rocket flies toward them, just before impact, the two left tires of the off-road vehicle suddenly extend, and with immense force, the car performs a 360-degree barrel roll.
The rocket narrowly grazes the undercarriage of the vehicle, landing on the side of the cave and sending stone shards flying.
"Idiots, the same trick doesn't work on a Saint. Eat my Pegasus Meteor Fist!"
After saying this, the vehicle's twisted hood suddenly flips open, and a pile of car parts flies out, striking the terrorist like shotgun pellets and turning him into a bloody mess.
At this point in the battle, the terrorists' morale finally collapses. The remaining men lose the courage to fight and begin to turn and flee.
Luo Xia quickly tries to pick them off one by one with the AK, but he only manages to kill seven; in the end, three terrorists manage to escape in a vehicle.
"What a pity. If I had a Type 95, they wouldn't have gotten away."
Stepping out of the off-road vehicle, Luo Xia watches the fleeing terrorists, feeling quite annoyed.
The AK he took from the terrorist is poorly maintained; its accuracy is decent within twenty meters, but beyond that, it's all down to luck.
He looks back at the off-road vehicle, feeling a sense of blood-bound connection.
"Is this the power of the AllSpark?" Luo Xia mutters to himself.
Seemingly sensing Luo Xia's focus, the shell of the damaged off-road vehicle begins to crack and shift. In the blink of an eye, the ruined car transforms into a five-meter-tall silver-gray robot, though a clear injury on its right shoulder leaves the entire right arm dangling, seemingly unable to exert force.
"Respected Commander, Assault Trooper Luo Fei reporting for duty." A polite, synthesized electronic voice rings out, and the robot salutes Luo Xia with its intact left hand.
"Luo Fei? Are you an Autobot or a Decepticon?" Luo Xia asks.
"Reporting to the Commander, I belong to neither the Autobots nor the Decepticons. I am a combat robot belonging to you, Commander. Also, the energy you possess, while called the AllSpark, is actually far more powerful than the AllSpark you know of. Therefore, I strongly suggest that you, Commander, choose a name more resounding than Decepticon or Autobot. I suggest 'Thunderbolt Mech' or 'Invincible God Squad.' Of course, there are even louder ones, like..."
"Shut up, Luo Fei. I think it's better if you turn back into an off-road vehicle for now."
Once Luo Fei starts talking, he goes on endlessly with no intention of stopping. Luo Xia, getting a headache, has to order him to be quiet.
"As you command, respected Commander." Luo Fei drops to the ground and, with a series of mechanical clicks, transforms back into an off-road vehicle, remaining there in silence.
Luo Xia has no interest in choosing a flashy name. This world isn't some anime where talk-no-jutsu reigns supreme; even if he changed his name to Thanos, it wouldn't mean he could actually shatter the universe with one punch. The only thing Luo Xia cares about is Luo Fei's strength—whether it can guarantee him a foothold in this world where "cheaters" walk everywhere and gods are as common as dogs.
Thinking of this, Luo Xia shifts his gaze elsewhere.
The recent battle and Luo Fei's extraordinary performance didn't just scare off the terrorists; they also left the captives trembling with fear. The only one who remains calm is Dr. Yinsen. He is currently tending to the injured captives, so focused that he hasn't even glanced at Luo Fei.
Yinsen is a good man in the traditional sense; that is Luo Xia's first impression of him.
At this moment, Tony Stark, who had been unconscious the entire time, begins to wake up.
