Nick Fury had never imagined that he would one day attend a conference convened by Hydra. Historically, Hydra and S.H.I.E.L.D. were supposed to be enemies locked in a fight to the death.
Yet when the invitation landed before Nick Fury, he had no choice but to go. The list attached to it included nearly every major figure capable of influencing the world.
"Captain, what do you think?" Nick Fury asked Captain America, Steve.
"We have to go. Even if only half the people on that list attend, no one knows what Hydra might do. We also have no idea how many of them were forced to attend. Other than accepting the invitation, we have no choice," Steve said.
In truth, Captain America had another question he dearly wanted to ask: "What exactly was S.H.I.E.L.D. doing while I was frozen? Did I sacrifice myself for nothing, just so Hydra could grow even stronger than it had been during World War II?"

This was not merely an idea. Someone had already done it. Governments around the world would not casually deploy intercontinental missiles. First, few countries possessed them; second, they were weapons of mass destruction and could not be used lightly.
But wealthy Jews had other means. After the conference invitations were sent out, bounties
