History

Ling Tian Sect's Rise

Han Yu first treated Heaven Dou as a political target after founding the Ling Tian Sect. Following his conflict with the Heaven Dou Royal Academy and the injury of Prince Xue Beng, he warned the imperial family not to provoke the sect again. Emperor Xue Ye ultimately chose appeasement over open conflict. 23 25

The imperial family sent Xue Qinghe to present the Vast Sea Cosmic Shroud as a founding gift for Ling Tian Sect. Han Yu publicly promised not to interfere in Heaven Dou's internal affairs unless the sect was provoked. 30

Soul Tool Relations

The Sun Moon Empire's arrival created a new strategic concern for Heaven Dou. Emperor Xue Ye learned that the expeditionary fleet's Soul Tools surpassed the empire's existing armaments and sent Qian Renxue to negotiate with Ling Tian Sect. 90

Ling Tian Sect later became the Sun Moon Empire's intermediary on the Douluo Continent, arranging technical exchanges and access to lower-level Soul Tool blueprints. Heaven Dou's court remained interested in acquiring this technology for military purposes. 92 98

Collapse of Imperial Authority

Han Yu manipulated the conflict between Qian Renxue and the imperial family, arranging events so that Qian Renxue viewed Prince Xue Xing as an open opponent. He predicted that she would move against Emperor Xue Ye rather than tolerate further uncertainty. 196

When Qian Renxue attempted to force Xue Ye's abdication, Ling Tian Sect stormed the palace. Han Yu cast Spirit Hall as the force behind the coup and used the crisis to remove the remaining imperial power base. 198 199

Xue Ke was installed as Empress, while Han Yu became regent. Although the House of Xue retained a sovereign on the throne, Heaven Dou's administration, military security, and treasury passed into Ling Tian Sect hands. 200 201

The empire becomes the central arena of Han Yu's political strategy when he exploits Qian Renxue's coup attempt, installs Xue Ke as empress, and assumes the role of regent. 198 200 201
