Silver City, somewhere.

A copy of the latest journal from Kingdom Mechanical University had been delivered here through a secret channel.

A hand picked it up and began reading carefully. "A breakthrough in the mass-production process for liquid metal?"

The owner of the hand was a middle-aged man in his forties. He adjusted his glasses. "The authors are James and Morphy?"

After thinking for a moment, he took the journal down to the basement.

A large, hollow square table stood there, with a few people seated around it.

"Nature above all!"

Several sweet female voices spoke first.

"Nature above all!"

The middle-aged man made a gesture and shouted the slogan before handing the journal to the nearest woman at the table, who had golden curls. "This is the latest research material from Kingdom Mechanical University. James has already made a breakthrough in liquid metal research!"

"Technological progress and the development of civilization... will ultimately lead only to destruction. Humanity should return to primitiveness and nature."

A woman seated at the head of the table spoke, pressing hard on the journal. "James has long been on our elimination list. Now... move him up! I received a prophecy: the invention of liquid metal will raise civilization to greater heights and bring us one step closer to destruction."

"Yes, Lady Twelve Prophets."

The golden-haired woman answered respectfully. "What about the paper's second author—Morphy?"

"He is a true genius, achieving such results after only half a year at the university... Put him on the elimination list as well. We cannot give him the chance to grow and endanger humanity."

Twelve Prophets spoke in an inscrutable tone.

"Understood!"

The golden-haired woman agreed in a sweet voice.

The middle-aged man stood solemnly at the side, cold sweat beading on his forehead.
