Ruins (Seeking Subscriptions)

Dawn.

An adventuring party set out on its journey.

Its composition was rather unusual: led by the hero Jupiter, with a Centaur as their guide, two seasoned mercenaries—Bolqi and Wus—and finally, a female Rogue named Timon.

The only thing this party had in common was that every member was a Hyperstring Warrior. Even Timon, the weakest among them, possessed the strength of a Level One Hyperstring Warrior.

It could be said that they were the very elite of the Mercenary Guild.

And the mission they bore was equally formidable.

"Let's go!"

Jupiter cast one last look at the city before setting off.

At the city gate, Herak and Sulu silently watched them leave.

"My child..." Herak said in a low voice. "May everything go well for him!"

"There are always hardships on a journey, but I believe they will succeed..." Sulu blinked. "Perhaps in later generations... all of this will become legend..."

Just as the Hormong Kingdom had mobilized its entire army and was locked in a desperate battle with the southward-marching orcs around the Hormong-Chiton line of defense, an inconspicuous party bypassed that military fortress renowned across the continent and officially entered the territory of the northern orcs.

They first crossed the Blood Plains.

There, banished Centaurs and kobolds lived together in small tribes, raiding every living creature that passed through.

Jupiter's adventuring party fought and trudged forward with great difficulty. Guided by Chiron Bloodhoof, they spent six months before finally leaving the plains and arriving at DeWitt City.

This city had been built by the Four Races Alliance, once led by Ruite, atop the ruins of the first sea tribe they had destroyed. It held immense significance and was now also a major city of the Hoffman Dynasty.
